I completely agree with Geoff here. I do not want to buy multiple mods...I want the GG, that's it. I think the more add-ons the better to allow complete flexibility for anyone/everyone. If you want VV you buy the add-on. If you don't, don't buy it. I personally would love the feature so I don't have to carry around 3 sets of different batteries, 3 sets of different atomizers, blah, blah. I could carry around 2 attys, 2 batteries and I'm set. I honestly couldn't imagine anyone that would not want this feature. I would also be willing to bet if Imeo made this feature, EVERYONE would buy it...you wouldn't be able to resist! :)

Friggin Sweet, Thanks Imeo ;)

Cannot wait to get my hands on this and test it out ;)

And for those of you who are willing to spend a couple bucks to find that elusive sweet spot for any given atty, You may want to buy one of these and make some pass thru adapters for testing. this one is a 0-3amp model, but a 0-5amp is available:

Power Supplies, Power Supply, Bench Supplies, Transformers

Price: $59.95
MFG: MASTECH
P/N: HY1803D
Input: 110 VAC 60Hz
Output: 0-18VDC @ 0-3A Constant Voltage or Current
Specifications/Features: Enclosed bench supply with dual LCD displays for output Volts & Amps. .02% Line /.01% Load regulation, <1mV RMS ripple. Front binding posts. CE listed.
L: 8-7/8" W: 3-5/8" H: 6-1/4" WT: 6.2

Agreed Geoff, someone in this thread stole my thunder already (But I did not take my idea from them).

Who here has a meter? How easy do users require this to be?

I think I have a multimeter laying around somewhere...But i don't have one of those handy dandy atomizer connections with the leads. How easy should it be? As easy as possible :)

I assume your method is the "add resistor method?" Personally, I'm more excited about a Potentiometer solution...that way you can really dial it in. A mini voltage control ring on the endcap would be my ultimate solution. Maybe something like this would work: 10k-Ohm Wheel Potentiometer - RadioShack.com

You have to be careful what you do with the endcap as this contains the vent holes. I'd add a potentiometer as an extra section above the battery with another control ring similar to the flow control.

Hmm...maybe the vent holes make it the perfect place for a potentiometer. It's my understanding that the way voltage regulators work is that they convert the extra voltage into heat. In this regard, the end cap with the vent holes makes it the perfect place because the heat can escape right there. Just a thought.

Nah, they have to be able to vent gas and flame caused by a battery failure/explosion, you don't want anything impeding that lol.

Remember, Imeo does have the extra baffle there that does exactly what you are afraid of, with the stated purpose of an extra buffer....what happens if the pot was there instead?

Also, these regulator circuits..like the one i linked to earlier have many fail-safes including over/under voltage and temperature cutoff's - which tremendously reduce the likelihood of an explosion/short circuit.

Just to be clear, I'm no expert..I'm just throwing ideas out there because it's fun! Maybe it's a horrible idea..or impossible..i have no idea. In the end i'd be psyched no matter where he puts it.:)

I think its a GREAT idea, but it isnt something I have to have.... I rarely change voltage anyways... I am usually 6 volts.... all the time...

But, on the other hand, if it was available I would buy it... I am just not convinced yet that this is something that I have to have....

I have used it on passthru ... ya can get one of those things for VV to add on to your passthru witch is pretty cool... but I ended up barely ever changing my voltage anyways...lol...

We'll see what happens...but for now, it isnt something I need..... but if it was available I would buy it...

BTW, I like the Potentiometer idea...

I still dont see what the big deal is over this with the GGTS and all the different Batt configurations and Attys out there, you either like LR, REG, or HV and all the sweet spots for LR & HV can be hit with stock Batts in my opinion and the only thing it would really be good for is a regular Atty of about 3 ohm's to dial it in @ around 4.6v-5v. But on the flip side I tend to agree it would be cool to have and I would pay the extra $15 - $20 it would cost to add it and have this just because.?
