Feedback thread - Subscribing Members Private Area

I will continue to be a subscribing member of ECF no matter what is decided. If it is to be where SM recieve some perks, great. But it will not take away anything from others. So we have nothing to loose. Members will not be forced to subscribe and still have access to what they do now. But it will make it more enticing to members who may be on the fence about subscribing.
I feel that ECF is already worth the fee we pay to subscribe. JMHO

As stated above, it's meant to be a "Thank You" for the subscribers, not some ploy to raise money. If that was the motive, I'm sure we could come up with something that would not require so much time and effort to develop.

My comments were in the 'if/then' format, not an accusation - sorry you took it that way. The points on 'value' and 'incentive' still stand and need no further discussion.

(to progg - a supporting member):
This isn't a discussion over whether or not you think it should happen because it is. I didn't ask for opinions regarding the new area, I ask for suggestions, so I request that post from here out be "What you would like to see" in the new area. Opinions are no longer needed as they have no bearing on the request here.

So if anyone feels it's not a good idea, move on without posting. The new area is happening, we are just looking for ideas to combine with our own ideas....that's it.

Note: The only purpose for this new area is to give back to those who give, nothing else, not for more money, not for exclusion, not for anything but a Thank You. So stop the speculations that this has some kind of underhanded motive. Post your suggestions or move on.

i think a lot of people that have posted in this thread brought up valid concerns and opinions. J0kers original intent seems to have been lost to some -- it was simply an additional thank you for supporting the forum.


Regardless of what we do we will never make everyone happy. I think we'll close this thread for now and process what has been brought up by the folks that have posted.
