So I went on my annual steelhead fishing adventure with my buddies last week. It had been two months since I've had a smoke. One thing lead to another on night one of the four day venture. I got pretty tanked, and decided I wanted to taste a "real" cigarette. I asked my buddy if I could start one of his and he said "sure". I was expecting that same old flavor that I used to love. I was really jazzed to have my first smoke in months while I had a little bit of a buzz on. Long story short, it tasted like licking an ashtray. While some part of me craved it beyond belief, I just couldn't smoke it. I quickly gave it back to him and went back to my e-cig. It was a very empowering experience! I'm sure i am off the analogs for good now!!!!!

Hope I can get to that point before long. I just started vaping last week, first using the Blu disposables from Walgreens and now with a Bloog kit I got last friday. I still have a few analogs during the day but much less. I normally smoke 2 packs a day. I bought 2 packs monday morning and had the last one of those this morning, so much better. Bought some this morning and smoked a few too many because I forgot my case with my second batter and spare cartos.. grrrrr. Surprised myself last night though. Lit one after not having one since I drove home from work 6 hrs earlier and after 4 puffs I put it out because I no longer wanted it. Did that a couple times today as well.

Good for you man! I did a similar thing, about a month after I had switched to vaping, I decided to have one of my wifes analogs, I lit it up, and couldn't even get through half of it. I thought it tasted like I had put my head over a campfire and started sucking in! I just wondered, how in the heck did I smoke for over 30 years??? :)

Same here. I've been smoke free for about 4 months. Got pretty toasted the other night and thought I wanted to taste the real thing again. Took 2 puffs and tossed it out. The next morning rather than feel guilty about my little "relapse" I was actually kinda pleased that I didn't like it and didn't finish it. I'm really pleased with myself at the moment because 4 months is the longest I have ever gone without a cigarette. On top of that I'm finding that its not really that much of a struggle to avoid them too. Just one mishap in 4 months. I'm not gonna beat myself up over it.

I wish I had these problems, unfortunately some people like myself still like the taste of analogs.

Your an adult and its no sin lol, I enjoy a real smoke after dinner. Been vapeing for over a year and a half. I'm down to one a day, don't think that is that bad considering I was over a pack a day

Same here. Took a few drags after having no cigs for over 6 months. Tasted good to me...chemical rush nearly made me pass out though (I vape 0 mg nic now). Yeeesh! No Way! The other good news is that I can smell the stale cig stink on people from 20 feet away. That makes me gag now and I never want to smell like that again.

No shame in falling off the wagon a little at all. Just keep in mind all the cigs you have NOT smoked because of vaping!

To the OP, Hope you caught your limit of Steelhead! Man, those are awesome fish.
