Female Vapers

I guess I am setting up my girls to really tick of misogynists. No, I don't have them vaping, but they both enjoy working on cars with me (I have a project street-rod--they have helped me tear down the engine, do brakes, oil, tires, etc.) They play video games and not ones that one could call girly. The older one plays an electric guitar. They both take martial arts. I'm basically raising my girls to be self-sufficient and not have to rely on a man for anything. The funny thing is that they still enjoy typically "girly" things as well.

Guess there are going to be a few disappointed ......s out there. When that happens, I'll know I've done my job.

Well, I can't possibly read through all these responses but here's the deal with me. Yes, I own a Provari. Yes, I own pretty darn good toppers. BUT, I have no desire to rebuild, recoil, cut the grass, do car work, do pool work, pick up dead animals from the yard, plunge a toilet...(need I go on). However, I do more than enough on my list and yes, work a full time job too.

I have honestly never thought about men vs women and vaping?? I think if women like to build mods and rebuild coils and all that - why on earth could they not do it as good as a man?

Now, I'm not saying that I CAN'T do the things above (minus the car maintenance...there's a line...), I just don't WANT to. So, I don't.

To each their own. I'm also the breadwinner in the house. Not that it matters or would change my opinion if I wasn't.

I know a fair few girls that know their way around engines and axles better than me, I also chat to a female vaper a few times a week who comes to my stall at work. She's got a nemesis I think and we're forever bouncing tips and tricks off each other, she gave me advice about steeping that's come up trumps for some of my DIY liquids

There's absolutely nothing wrong with being bested by someone in any area of knowledge, regardless of gender. It's being a total p----s about it that's the problem.

(Yes I'm male, for some reason people think mousey is a girl's name xD)

Last week I saw a vape shop employee try to steer a female customer away from the mechanical mod she was eyeing. Although he didn't use the exact words, his message was, "You should try this eGo-C. This is more for women." She looked mildly annoyed that he wouldn't give her much info on the product she was interested in and ended up leaving.

I was in a Best Buy helping a friend set up a little home network, every time I would ask a question he would speak to the guy I was with. When we left he asked me if that happens often, he was pretty disgusted when I said ya. I was wondering when I became 'privileged' because that sort of stuff does not happen where I work now, I am a subject area expert in a field that for every 3 jobs there is 1 person. I guess I never realized how bad I was being treated till I got respect. Perspective is a weird thing.

Hmm, I hope she considers me an exception to that rule...

I think the bummer about all that is 'the squeaky wheel gets the grease'. I would say the jerks are in a minority but they can do so much damage. There are so many wonderful men out there (people really), but it it easier to remember the bad.

As we talk we become aware and that is a wonderful thing.

A female vaper is the same as a male vaper to me. Never understood why girls doing certain things has to be sucha big deal. Talk about ridiculous. For instance I would never watch a ecig reviewer just because she is a hot female, I'd watch her only if she knew what she was doing.

I recently got my ex into vaping ecigs, she was a non-smoker but enjoys smoking other things, herbal things, but anyway now she enjoy vaping as much as I do.

Today I posted a column about how it's sometimes awesome for female vapers...and it sometimes sucks. In many ways, female vapers are treated like female gamers, comic book fans, tech nerds, etc. Many vaping guys will find vaping gals attractive, but some vape dudes automatically dismiss female vapers (building skills, mech knowledge, etc.).
