Same. I've abandoned 28 guage and gone with 26 guage with 2mm id and it's perfect. The amount of wick needed was the most difficult part for me to figure out.

Also, it's my first rta :D

Nice to see other people enjoying the Billow v2 as well
i use 3/32 which i guess is like 2.5mm 26 guage 8-10 wraps my first rta 2

Do you have pictures of your wicking procedure? I am really struggling with getting dry hits. I have been able to get it wicking good once with the pancake method. But I just rewicked it and I couldn't duplicate it. Now I am smoking cotton again. I am running a single coil at 1.1 ohm with 28 Guage wire micro coil. Please help I am new to the tank system but I like it when it works.

I tried it but I still can't seem to get it to wick without it going dry very quickly. I mean at 1.1 ohms and at 9 volts it should be wicking ok at a 50% vg / pg mix. I don't get it.

Do you mean 9 watts? 1.1 Ohms at 9 volts is about 73 watts which is a wicked hot vape in a billow. And how the heck are you running a single coil??

Sorry yes I mean watts, so it's actually 3.2 volts. It works with a single coil. I tried it with duel coils but I get dry hits also. So I went with single coil thinking I could get it wicking better. I am at a loss trying to get it to work.

Single coil is not going to be worth your time in a Billow v2. That's going to be a subpar vape by anyone's standards. Also, 9 watts on a dual coil?? Does that even heat up?? You get dry hits?? Please send some pictures, i think something is horribly wrong here. Each to their own of course, but something doesn't add up.

trick is half of the wick on the deck and just hardly any cotton in the juice grooves and don't go past where the end of larger grooves are...also when you wick your coils don't do wick to tight just a little bit of resistance when you pull it threw the coils. Also it helps to have the cotton hardly even touching the chimney from the coil to the juice channel....I still have trouble sometimes but never with 50 50 just my 80 vg juice ill try to take a pic later
