Right, but I'm hoping to find some that don't taste so horribly manufactured.
I've had some vape juice in the past that has had nice subtle floral tastes, but I can never find any to make my own that don't taste almost perfume-y? Or soapy even?
Not sure if those are the right words haha but I hope you catch my drift
Maybe there's something I can do in the process or flavors that I can add to balance them out better. I've never made my own just co-piloted on a friend making theirs and floral flavors are a hurdle I'd love to tackle haha

I do. Horehound might be something to try messing with very sparingly. It’s sort of a floral. Also the tea flavors might yield something. Also the wines.

Hmmm I've never tried a wine flavor or even seem anything with Horehound in it, but I might have to give them a shot. Thanks for the tips!! :p
Horehound is an herb that used to be used to make candy. riccola has some in it iirc. It’s quite potent

There are a few that come to mind, although I haven't used them all with great results.
Cherry Blossom, Honeysuckle and I believe there is a Lilac Candy also.
I played with the Cherry Blossom, but didn't care for it myself.
There was a Peachy Keen recipe on here yrs ago (so can't remember the person)
That was Juicy peach and Honeysuckle that was very yummy.

+1 for honeysuckle. It’s quite floral. Another one that can be overdone though

Anyone know a supplier I could find flavors like rose or lavender from that are quality and don't taste too manufactured?
I'm dying to use them in some recipes!
It looks like there are quite a few choices here, but as a menthol/mint guy I can't attest to their qualities.

Good luck!

Thanks for the lead! I'll check some of them out and see I love menthol flavors too. My preference is literally anything outside of the usual candy/cake flavors lol

In the mint/menthol realm, I use Hypermint flavoring from Azure Vaping as my all day vape. At 8-9% it seems just right to me. If I could replicate Halo Menthol Ice I would be vaping it much of the time, but no luck so far.

I have used, and enjoy, both TFA-Honeysuckle and TFA-Cherry Blossom. Honeysuckle is a flavor I know from childhood (we had a huge hedge of it; and I would pull the blossoms and suck out the nectar). TFA's is spot on to my recollection. Cherry Blossom is a very light cherry; not at all cough-syrup(y). It can get perfumey if mixed too high. It tastes more "aromatic" than "fruit" to me (if that makes any sense:confused:).

Horehound is more herbal than floral to me (Ricola is a great description). It is quite potent.

I love TFA honeysuckle. Very useful; at 1-2% makes for a nice light sweetener, 3-4% will give a gentle floral not (especially good with pear and apple). Pair the honeysuckle with FA jasmine for an amazing orange blossom (using any orange mix of your choice).

I will have to look into lilac candy that sounds amazing. I will definitely play with that peach/honeysuckle recipe as long as it doesn't come out too candy sweet I think I would like it. And cherry blossom is a great suggestion I've never had it in a vape juice. Thanks!

Ooh if the cherry blossum is like youre describing i think it bumped to the top of my to try list. And yeah that makes sense haha Horehound might be good with some lighter tea flavors then? I know a lot of the teas come out sweet and weird but a vape juice that's like a cup of herbal tea sounds amazing! Haha

Ry4 is a bit unusual in that it tastes of very different things to different people. To me it tastes like caramel and over cooked green pepper for example.
I don't think you'd find that flavor to taste anything like other RY4's. They claim they keep it available because some like the floral note. It's pinkish.

As to honeysuckle, I've been using Avail's Wild Cut and never thought to clone it...

I appreciate the percentage breakdown of the flavor. I'm from Florida and love citrus but can never get a orange flavor that tastes right to me (a lot of sour citrus-y or orange pastries), so will definitely try that orange blossom idea, thank you!
