My order from Wizard Labs came in yesterday and I carefully opened the box when I got home.
Everything was packed very nicely and very protected. One flavor bottle lid was slightly losse and had oozed slightly, just enough to discolor the label. No big deal, it was a minute amount.

So I made my first juice. I downloaded ejuice Me Up and I think I may have it working correctly.
My only question is did I do the Nic right. My Nic is 18mg in a PG base (1.8% Nicotine Solution 18 mg/ml 100% PG)

If I try to set the Nicotine Strength Ejuice settings to PG 100% VG 0% 18 mg with the target nicotine strength to 18 mg (with other settings for the flavor and PG/VG %) the app complains that the PG/VG amount is too low (-1 on both)

If I set the first setting to PG 100% VG 0% 100mg target to 18mg then it appears to be happy.

So a single flavor juice (PG/VG 60/40) set this way comes out to:

Does this look right? It appears to vape ok.

if your nicotine solution is 18mg you cant make a 18mg liquid. the 18mg nic will start dropping as soon as you add vg and flavors. for instance my nic solution is 50mg. if I make 15ml with a target of 15% nic I will need 4.5ml of nic solution. The only way for you to have 18mg nic is to vape only the 18mg nic solution which i'm sure you don't want to do. I just put your numbers in the calc and around 7mg nic is the best you can do with that recipe. you need a higher nic percent solution. I got 100mg and mixed it with equal part of pg and have 50mg nic solution. sorry but good luck.

LOL! Yeah that is what I was thinking too. Ahh live and learn. So I'll just use the Nic solution for my PG and order the correct Nic, the 100 mg and split it like you did, next time and go from there.

Hey my bottle of PG is gonna last a while. LOL!

On the top reading across Nicotine strengh ejuice , you have it set 100 % pg , 0 % vg 100mg/ml. you stated you bought 18% nicotine from wizard labs. With a 18% nicotine base and 20% percent flavor your target percent for the juice you are making can not be 18%. Nor will your pg/vg ratio 60/40. you can not dilute 18% and still have 18%. correct the 100mg per ml to 18 mg/ml first

You maybe able to use it to make say a 10-12 mg/ml juice :vapor:

the way nicotine is priced, i find that its much more cost-effective to get as high as a mg per ml that the vendor offers. its cheaper that way and its less bulky for shipping and storing.

OP, you could get up to a 12mg juice if youre willing to go approx 86PG/14VG. or you could get 14.5mg if youre willing to go 100%PG.

NO, you can NOT use a 18 percent nic solution as a pg only no nicotene. you will end up with a nic value that is TOO high. You can use the nic solution of 18mg/ml to either make a ejuice that is lower than 18 mg/ml or combine it with a higher mg/ml and use that new value as your nic solution and then from there add your vg and pg no nic and flavorings to combine to your target mg. If you nicotene level is not that big of a deal then add vg and flavoring to the 18 percent nic solution and go for it. Example:

18%nic
10 percent flavoring
80/20 pg/vg
ejuice final 12percent nic

6.67 ml nic/pg 18%
2.0 ml vg
1.0 ml flavoring
.33 pg

This would give you a 10 ml of a 12 mg/ml juice

Or just use the NIC solition for PG only mix that don't require much flavor such as single flavor mixes at 6% and below. the reduction in nic content won't be that significant maybe a 2-3% drop. Never tried a PG only mix but my guess would be great throught hit but little smoke on the exhale.

Well I'm glad that I asked what I thought would be a stupid question. :)

Thanks!

So much to learn....

Like bace a flunt said the super concentrates from Vaping Zone can be used at a much lower percentage. The super concentrates are recommended at 2.5% DIY-Flavoring-Alcohol Base | E Liquid Flavoring-Alcohol Base - E Cig : Best Ejuice | Joye eGo & eGo-T | Boge Leo | Cartomizers | E-Liquid | Electronic Cigarettes

The gourmet super concentrates are recommended at 1% VZ-SC Gourmet Flavoring - E Cig : Best Ejuice | Joye eGo & eGo-T | Boge Leo | Cartomizers | E-Liquid | Electronic Cigarettes

That would be a lot closer to your target level.
