I've only been vaping for a couple of months. I upgraded from a mini to an ego-c and although I was pretty impressed by the throat hit and vapor production, I felt the flavour wasn't up to much, so I decided to give cartomisers a try. I opted for a Vision Clearomiser (from uk eliquid), for no reason other than it looked cool.

All I've got to say is boooooooooom. It's amazing. Much better vapor production and the flavours are much stronger and enjoyable compared to the standard ego-c setup. No leaking either. I wish I knew this before I splashed £70 on the full ego-c starter set, when all I needed was 2 batteries, a charger and some cartos.

I'm after a bit of advice on clearomisers as they are completly new to me;
What other clearomisers do people on here like?
How long do they normally last based on medium usage?
Can you use different e-liquids in the same clearomiser and is there anything you need to do before changing flavours?

Cheers

Well, you've discovered what most eGo-T and eGo-C eventually figure out. The "T" and "C" are kind of gimmicks to sell batteries. They usually get put aside in favor of other clearomizers and cartomizers.

The Vision Clearomizers, or "Stardusts" are pretty popular. Some people report a burning or plastic taste, but most people like them a lot. For an eGo specific clearomizer, they're about as good as it comes if you like them. They should last about a month or more and there are videos on Youtube, and probably info on this site, about how to really clean them well.

You can change flavors, just rinse them out well between juices. You can let them dry, or just vape through it. You'll get a low of weak hits until all the water has burnt off the coil and wicks.

I don't know what version you got, but there are new ones out now that have long wicks, so that will help with the dry-hit problem some have reported.

I'm not sure what's available in the U.K., but I like Fluxomizers, from Gotvapes.com. It's the only clearomizer I ever use anymore. I tried, and gave up on, all the other CE2 based clearomizers until I found them. They'll fit on the eGo, and hold almost as much as the Vision. They are a Vision product and fit any 510 battery but they don't make one with the skirted connector specifically for the eGo.

In uk they are called CE2 Clearomizers XL :)
In my opinion CE2 system is still the best because the coil is close to the tip and the ceramic cup helps keeping the coil hot.
There are a lot of products based on CE2... I'd advice the EGO-w/F1 system (Ego CE2 giantomizer F1).
In UK you can find CE2s on Liberty Flights, Cloud9vaping or Madvapes
