First DIY Attempt Question

I have a bottle of 70/30 Unflavored with a 5ml bottle of Flavour art Vanilla Burbon. I want to try a small batch, 3ml or so, how many drops of flavor would be safe/normal?

Yes, that's what I am trying to figure out. Estimating 20 drops equal a ml.

You need to be more accurate than that. My pipettes from Wizard Labs are 38 drops per ml for flavorings
Rounding off to 40 drops, each drop would add 2.5% of flavoring to each ml... so a 3ml batch.. 3 drops means 2.5% flavoring

i use condensed flavoring, start w/ 5 drops per 1ml so for reg. flavor i'd guess 15-20 sounds about right/

Also if you use nic, make a small batch without the nic first and if you like the flavor add the nic
and if you dont like it your not wasting the nic.

The bottle that FA provides, up to 30ml, has a dropper top that varies between 30-36 drops per ml according to the measurements I made a few years ago. (Don't know if OP has one of the FA's dropper tops or if FA still uses the same top.)

My 20g blunt tip needle gets 88 drops per mil...

Why not do a straight ratio and start at 10%?
.3ml flavor to 2.7ml nic base = 10% flavor.
