Hello all! I'll bump this one more time for ya. Not a MI vaper yet, but will be at some point toward the end of the year. Since my wife and I wont be able to make this one I'll have to ask for a rain check. Such a shame to miss out on a good old fashion get together.
Would have been nice to meet you lariders. Where in MI. are you? Your avitar looks like a spot I know on the Au Sable.
@ War Mouse, you'll have to catch the next one. If this goes well I'd like to make it an annual thing. I love hosting parties.
Do you know where in MI. you'll be living?
Wow. some one knows the mio area. good job. That is the au sable, I have a place up there not very far from the river. Most of the time I say mio and people give me a funny look.
We have a place on Hubbard Lake near Alpena and I have taken many slow sight-seeing drives in that part of the state. I've driven through Mio on 72 when I've gone from Hubbard Lake to Grayling a few times.
Yep. Been through there a few times.
Man, I wish you could come. We could have a conversation for sure and Lansing is only an hour from me.
Oh well, maybe we can have one up your way later in the summer or in the fall.
If there is one in the fall I would really try and make it. To bad I have some other things going on. I did not know there was a michigan spot on this site. I just found it today. only if I would have seen it sooner.
Well. The festivities commence in 8 hours! Regretfully, the Wiz is apparently not going to make it. He PMed me 3 weeks ago and said he may not be able to make it and I haven't heard from him since. I'm throwing a pork roast in the Orion cooker this morning for pulled pork (only takes 3 1/2 hours) and then I'll put the brisket on. Dr. Fred should be showing up with his smoker and some slabs of ribs in a couple hours.
Lookin' forward to seeing you all.
