The center screw did appear a bit loose but not enough to seem like that was the issue. I will build it again around 1 just to be on the safer side. Do my coils look too low to the deck? And is there too much cotton? (Both ideas that were previously mentioned) This is only my 2nd rda and I am still in the learning phase. Thanks again for any help!
edit: the Tobh Atty has 3 air holes on each side and I keep them positioned directly facing the coils.
I've heard of people shaving/sanding (LIGHTLY) on the insulators to get the center post screw more bite into the center post itself, helping with the loose center post issue. I don't know how the conductivity is with a loose center post and whether or not it affects the vape, but it can't be helping.
I can't tell if your coils are too low, but I usually try to build so that the center line of the horizontal coil is directly facing the air hole (or "midpoint" of the three holes in your case).
It doesn't really look like too much cotton.
When you first built the coils, did you do a test fire to see if they were heating evenly? If you've got one cold coil and one "hot" coil, it could be throwing things off a bit.
