Shortest mechs right now that are popular are the SMPL and the 4nine. They are hybrids (like the Stingray X with the adapter). The Stingray X is well within that group of "shortest" though. Great mech.

The Nanos with a nemesis hybrid adapter. And Le Petit Gros. Both very short mods. The Nanos even has a locking mechanism.
