Hey guys. A friend of mine introduced me to e-cigs the other night at a bar we hang out at. He told me to come to this site as it has tons of info. So I've been browsing a few days and finally made the plunge and ordered a Janty Dura-C starter kit and a liquid refill bottle (coca-cola). Looking forward to giving this a shot and quit smoking for good.

Couple of questions that I haven't been able to find answers to:

1) How many times should I refill a cartridges before replacing it?

2) Does a refilled cartridge last as long as replaced cartridge?

3) Why does the kit come with two atomizers? Do they have to be replaced every so often?

Thanks guys.

I do not use carts so I have to skip over one and two but on the topic of three...

The atomizers are like lightbulbs. They will need to be replaced at some point but that varies from atomizer to atomizer. Some may last a very long time and some can go quickly. I have had atomizers last me for months and I have also had 3 die in a single days time.

The Janty DuraC comes with two of them and they warranty one of them for 3 months. Use the one that is black and says janty on it. That is the one that has a warranty. If it dies then you can send it back to janty and use the other one they send you.

Of course myself, and most people on this forum do not rely on one two atomizers. It is probably in your own best interest to order a few extra's. I would suggest a minimum of 2 extra's.

Also be sure to do a test run with new atomizers that you do not plan to use for a while. Drip two drops of liquid onto the atomizer and vape a few drags with it before you put it away. This way you know it actually works. You don;t want to have an atomizer die and then pick up a spare to discover it was DOA and you can no longer replace it.

I was reading about dripping without the cartridge. From what I gather, you put two or three drops directly on the atomizer. So how many puffs do you get out of those drops?

Thanks.

Re your questions about cartridges.

How many times to refill before replacing a cart?

As long as you keep the filling clean, as long as you like... I wash my filling when it needs it and let it dry and re -use till it becomes sparse and stringy. I then renew the filling with Fluval, which is used as filtering material for aquarium pumps. So available at any aquatic store.

Does a refilled cartridge last as long as replaced cartridge?

Probably longer if properly filled.

Hope that hellps

You use something called Fluval to replace the interior material that holds the liquid inside the cartridge?
I'll have to look that up.

The filler will not displace the liquid I take out the filler, fill the cart with liquid put the filler in. and if you need more polyester filler go to Wal-Mart and get some 100% polyester batting for quilting look at the bag and see if it is fire ......ant or not get the one that’s not fire ......ant for $5.00 you will have more filling for a lifetime.
