I don't see how this relates to the discussion at hand. I have multiple RBAs each filled with a different juice. When all I want to do is vape it, I can screw it on my Vamo & know I'm getting 10W.

Yes, I can calculate Watts. Yes, I have the 'handy' V-W charts. There are times it's just quicker & easier to use a VW device. Sounds like you're letting your bias show.

Will my Vamo outlast my ProVari? I doubt it. Does it do what it's supposed to do @ a $35 price point? Yup.

My dos centavos.

Most of the haters are too dumb or lazy to calculate wattage. Honestly I will never want variable wattage as I use only RBAs now. I dont want the power shooting up if one my coils is acting up. I'm also an Android guy and feel the same way about Apple products. Dont need somebody to think for me. Ive had my V1 Provari for 18 months now and it will probably still outlast all the vw devices out right now

Not only do you guys hafta have the "best" mod there is, most of you keep a stable of "lesser" mods (just to make sure ProV beats em), AND yer always hugging each other...creepy.

Please don't kill me you guys, just sayin...
That's because we are just one happy family. And when you own a Provari, everything else IS a lesser mod.

I don't know you from Adam, so I don't know if you are a troll or just being sarcastic, but since you are referring to us as "you guys" I'm going with a troll. Have a nice day.

Edit: Yeah, you are a troll. Just saw which side you were on in this thread: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/variable-voltage-apv-discussion/378219-am-i-only-one-who-doesnt-think-think-provari-all.html You can take your mod envy elsewhere.

I knew it would not take long for shots to be fired

Here is the bottom line. If you are a mainstream vaper then any of the new vv/vw mods will work fine for you. Primer you are in this group. What I mean by mainstream is most people vape with attys or cartos in a nominal ohm range where you would not notice the difference between a Provari, eVic, Vamo, Zmax etc. There is nothing wrong with this.

However, if you are or plan to be a extreme vaper, a offroad vaper(my term) then a Provari V2(not a V1) is your only tube mod option. I use RBAs only(rebuildable atomizers) and prefer 32 gauge kanthal wire with 325 mesh. My coils usually measure out at .9-1.1 ohms. I vape at 3.0-3.1 volts. Rarely I need 2.9 volts for coil breakin and yes a Provari will do this(no other mod can).

Second however, if you are using dual coil cartos at higher volts only a Provari V2 can properly push them. All the vv/vw mods mentioned have internal regulators that cut off power. They say 10 watts but you are not getting 10 watts. The eVic is a great example of this.

It simply is what it is. No need for emotions or insults.

Actually that's a compliment. Nothing wrong with wanting the best.
Thank you!

Enjoy the debates, its those debates that allow people to make informed buying decisions. Thats the real beauty of ECF for me, being able to gather some info before I make a purchase. If a person actually spends some time reading, they can learn quite a lot, even from the haters 8)

Post count, length of time vaping, even shear amount of equipment doesn't stop the haters either--- just sayin. I can post pics, but it never changes much actually. Haters actually keep a thread alive, while a clear thought out perspective and comparison of mods with Pics and logic: thread just dies and gets buried.

Eat a Snicker's or buy a ProVari. One or the other. :)

The provari hate is interesting. Funny thing is the Provari is what has really kept me off smoking.

Since January of last year I was using the way overpriced 808 kits and did not enjoy them at all. Had a brief comeback to cigs, but then ended up buying a Provari.

To this day I use it on a daily basis. It is very sturdy and handles drops very well. I have never had a bad experience with either of my Provari's.

Is it the only thing I want and beats everything else? No. My next step is to get into various high-end mech mods, but this is just going to be my after-dinner setup and around the house. The provari goes with me everywhere else. Be it work, going out, snowboarding, etc. etc. It's built like a tank and has a reputable company behind it. A simple carto tank and mini provari is just very functional for using everywhere out and about.

My coworkers both use Ego twists and only one of them has had issues where he had to replace it a couple times. Key here is that it has kept them off smoking. That is what is most important. Some people just can't justify throwing down $200+ for a mod.

Yes you can get a great vape from an Ego or something similar, but the money I spent on the Provari has paid itself in full to this day. Really happy I bought the provari originally.

Whenever I hear Provari Cult, for some reason I think of that creepy Vonage commercial.

And not only do you have to be "jealous" of the "best" mod there is, you feel the need to find any discussion which is about the "best" mod and try to derail it by acting condescending and facetious...creepy.

Please don't hate us with your jealousy, just sayin...

See, its easy to spin that right around. Its really simple; we saw value in something with a good warranty, a reliable manufacturer and is built like a tank. It just so happens that its not one or 2 of us, but a large number of us; and we're very happy with our purchases. Why you can't accept that different people have different priorities, and your little world is exactly that, your little world, is beyond me and I pity you.

Do you really feel so vastly superior that you have to try to troll others? Pretty pathetic.

I was late to the party, but can I have one anyway?

See another reason why I think the "Provari" fanbase gets so much hate is the fact that our mods are so easily accessible.

In the early stages of Provape, Provari's took a little time to get a hold of. Be it the various LED options, colors, etc. Since Provape has now established itself as a reputable and great company, they now have a very constant stream of supply. Rarely do we see Provari's out of stock or taking a decent amount of time to get your hands on one.

I have noticed that nobody ever hates on say a Caravela, Chi-You, I-Hybrid, etc. These mods are fanstastic, but hey, there costs can range from $200-$300+ with the various setups. Same thing goes for various hard to get a hold of RBA's. When I tell my friends or co-workers i'm about to throw down this kind of money for a shiny piece of metal I get crazy looks. They use there Ego's and are happy with them. But I enjoy having this collector item.

Look lets be honest. Those "rare" mods I mentioned are great. I myself want to buy one. But they are extremely hard to buy considering the various outlets you have to go through to get one. Just last night I wanted to get a Juggernaut through 310, and the damn site crashed because of how many people wanted one. Only 50 were made so it is not easy to get one. You have to either join a pre-order list, find a single vendor that supplies them and stay up all night to get in at the right moment. It's just insane IMO.

These "collector" items are very expensive to most people, but being someone who enjoys having a collectors item, I am willing to pay for it.

Perfect example: Zen products. Recently I have noticed that the ZAP has been getting a lot of hate on various posts, threads, etc. Funny thing is people praised the ZAP not to long ago. Because Zen the creator is pumping more product out, it has now went from being a collector's item, to something anyone can get. But I really enjoy my ZAP and want to get another ZEN product because of how well it works.

Again, these are just things I have noticed recently. By not having that collectors status I feel we will just be seen as a cult when we praise our Provari (i.e. Apple products).

Been on the receiving end of hate a few times in my recommendation of a Provari. Yesterday I got the same whammy for recommending a Z Atty Pro. lol. Well everyone is entitled to their opinion....
For myself I take everything with a grain of salt. Do my own research and find out who's opinions I agree with (are they based on experience and facts) then I will give much more weight to their future arguements.
people like Baditude who have never steered me wrong and have a LOT of knowledge and experience to share.

The fact that the ProV is accessible is part of the problem. If it was hard to get would we suggest them to anyone? Probably not.

The ZAP is a whole different issue it has gotten more accessible, but it has also been shown to have issues a $150 high end device should not have. Is that because they have upped the production? I wouldn't be happy with my ProV if I had to glue it together after a week or two of use.

I read your previous posts and don't understand why you had to glue the top post in? The top post on my ZAP also had the same issue you had, but I did not glue it back. I just screwed it back in and have had no issues using it. It's now easier to take apart and clean now.
