First time vaping at .2 ohms.

I'm running dual coil 22 g kanthal in my plume veil. Reading out at .18.



Seven wraps with each coil. We all know the plume veil has airflow to spare, and with it open all the way it's still a very warm vape. Warm enough to make my eyes water lol. But it's not painful.

Here's a video of the clouds I get. Although it doesn't seem big, it is. The perspective is just a little skewed.

yup. I run at ~0.2 bout all the time on a Little Boy wide bore... good stuff.

Running .2 my self. I started with 1.6 ohm and experimented with different ohms and wires. But some how .2 has become my home. I like the warm vapor, it reminds me of actual smoking and I like the throat it. I like the little to none warm up time. I push the button and it's instant vapor in my mouth going bam! 3mg nicotine monkey snack by ripe vipes and my .2 ohm setup is by far my favorite!

Have a dual parallel 26g on the plume veil down to .2Ω and that also seems to be my sweet spot. Great flavor and like you said, not too hot.

Just finished a new coil....1 strand of 26ga and 4 strands of 32ga twisted together...8 wraps around a 7/64 drill bit...dual coil comes in at 0.31 ohms...hits like a train at 120W no ramp up time at all and the flavor is awesome...

Oh yeah, it is running on my Mutation X v2 opened all the way on my Cloupor T8

It seems like the plumeveil has pretty good airflow until you try something like a mutation x/dark horse/mephisto v2. If you plan on going much lower, keep in mind that ohms law is multiplicative at this point, so even a small change from .2Ω to .15Ω is going from 88 watts to 117 watts that fast. Then from .15 to .10 is 117 to 176 watts (not considering the large voltage drop of course).

I purchased a plume veil today and I was just doing my first dual coil shooting for about .7 or .8 and ended up with .2 (Idon't want this)......My first coil read 1.7 (I was shooting for 1.5)
put a same wrap wire on the other side and now its .2.......? Yeah I'm new at this. Shouldnt I be at higher resistance....any help would be awesome

...edit: Never mind I figured it out....there was a short...of some sort er....

I'm running my Plume Veil at .28 with a dual 26g coil. For me it's just a tad too hot. Might be because I lost my top cap so I'm chuffing it with my lips. lol

you will slowly get used to it, I started at .8 and then moving down, now I have a dual trippple parallel build at .2 on my plume veil. Removed the delrin top airflow control and vaping straight from the top cap, still gets me choking sometimes when I take the first hit.

Or you can try get a drip tip with airflow control. Cheers!
