First time vapor - ready to buy a VK - few questions

After lots of research online, I am ready to join the vaping world for the first time. I am a 1-2 pack a day smoker (Marlboro Reds) for over 30 years. My intent is to cut out cigarettes completely, eventually and to also cut back on the expense of doing so. I am currently spending about $130-$140 per month on 4-cartons of cigarettes (I get them online, overseas, so they are cheaper). I would imagine my cost in vaping and supplies would be about half of that, which is fine, especially if it gets me of cigarettes completely eventually.

I want to get a Vapor King 808D-1 and went to the Vapor4Life website and saw the Original Vapor King Ultimate Starter Kit ($69.95) which I like. After reading another thread about the Vapor King, I might get one Auto battery and one Manual battery with this starter kit. That way I can try each and decide which would work best for me.

I did order an inexpensive e-cig yesterday from a referral just to get me started in vaping. I got the eGo Clearomizer Blister Pack Starter Kit (650MaH/CE4) for $14.95 and a 30ml e-liquid ($18). Even though I bought that and should get it in a few days, I still want to get the Vapor King because I think that will be the one I will use, at least I'm hoping.

Questions:
1. What is the size (length) of the Vapor King 808D-1? Is it longer than a traditional cigarette or is it the same size?
2. Considering I am a heavy smoker, should I get 24mg or 36mg for my cartomizers?
3. Battery size - should I get "regular" or "short" or one of each as well?
4. The 5-pack cartomizers that come with this starter kit - are they disposable or can I refill them with e-liquid?
5. If the cartomizers are disposable, can I get refillable cartomizers and e-liquid that will fit my VK from this ultimate starter kit?
6. Is the PCC carrying case a chargeable case?
7. When I order this on their site, should I consider using someone here as a referral, if that matters or helps?
8. Is there any coupon code for the Ultimate Starter Kit or first time buyer for the VK? If not, thats fine, not a big deal.

I think that is it with the questions. I certainly would appreciate everyone's input, help, etc. I am very close to ordering the VK Ultimate Starter Kit very soon, maybe today, even before I receive and try the eGo that I bought yesterday. Thank you in advance!

I'll try to answer what I can.
#1. The batteries come in different sizes, but I would say that the shorty with a cart is about the size of a regular cig. The regular size with a cart is about the size of an extra-long cig. The problem with those, as I see it, is that their battery life isn't very long. I mostly used the XL for their longer (about 6 hours) battery life so I didn't have to carry so many batteries with me.

#2. I would suggest getting a carts in both strengths to start off. I believe most people start in that range, I know I started with 24mg.

#3. Longer battery = longer battery life, so size is a personal choice

#4. they are both disposable and refillable. Many people buy the juice and refill the carts as needed. You can even clean them to get continued use out of them. Search the forum for threads on that.

#5. You can also buy blank carts to fill. All of the carts are recyclable.

#6. I believe the the PCC does charge.

Here are my replies to some of your answers:

2. I suggest 18mg and 24mg instead of the 36mg. If you're going to chain vape or vape as much as you smoked at least, you don't want too much nicotine where you end up getting headaches or nausea from vaping. But you're definitely on the right track with starting off with two .

Bham is right - the 36mg is really strong, so I should have said so! 24mg and 18mg are what I started with; I'd do 24mg in the a.m. to get a jump start for the day, then go to 18mg after lunch.
