Well my GGTS stopped firing reliably and I decided to clean it. Did the deed and still not firing. Started t/sing with a multimeter. Low and behold, the fuse was not making good contact to the endcap. I stretched it out a bit and now all is good. Noaloxed everything back up on the electrical side and used some Vaseline on the AVS side and o-rings. Firing like a champ!!!

So, I will be getting some more "fuses" soon I guess. I was thinking about actually getting the end cap without the fuse also. The reason, there is no give between the post and negative side of the batt with the fuse setup IMO, I am thinking the endcap with just a spring will be better (minus the safety). I am using IMRs and protected batts & not stacking, so not really worried about that.

Any opinions on experiences between the two setups?

I have both and side by side the spring seems to give better results and is what I use when running 3.7v, if I stack I use the fuse for safety.
If you squeeze 2 fuse springs together you will get better conductivity and still have the safety factor.
Personally, I run mine without either fuse or spring, directly on a brass post using two 18350 IMR batteries :)
