Five Thumbs Can Wrap a Coil

After over a month of trying, I finally got what I thought was passable results on my AGA-T. I lost my arm to cancer a couple of years ago, so it is a little harder for me. I use a vise and forcepts to help me wrap the coils. Having reached this point with my AGA-T I decided to try my Cobra, that has been sitting on my shelf. It worked right off the bat. No shorts. No hot spots. No bad tastes! While the flavor is very good, I am hoping that it will improve even more as it breaks in. It just goes to show that anyone can use a Genesis atomizer if they work at it. As PBusardo said, "Now I get it".

My compliments! I cut my hand open (badly) with a band saw and was one-armed for about a month about a year ago. I learned to do everything I needed to one-handed (including driving, rolling smokes, cooking etc) and was fully self sufficient... but it was not easy. Congratulations on not letting it limit you.

Albinon, congratulation with your first great set up.

Are you using a mechanical mod or a regulated device? It is much easier to set up with a mechanical mod. The thicker gauge wire you use the easier the set up. While this is not the most ideal way to do a set up it can be done very easily with 28g wire and a mechanical mod...it is the easiest and fastest way to set up a genesis:

After doing what the video shows, if you do wet burns (5 x 10 second burns)....it will season your coil and the vape will be much better.

Yes, I got the Smoktech Natural. My Provari would throw short codes even when the meter didn't show any.

Albinon.....you can torch the mesh beforehand. Having an oxidized wick will actually speed up the process. I would advise to not over torch meshes though. I only torch mine so that I clean it of residuals oils left on it from manufacturing processes. I torch it very lightly. All the videos where people keep torching the mesh again and again is actually counter productive, since un-oxidized meshes wick the best.

You can do it like the video with 30g wire but it will take longer. IF you can visually adjust the coils such that they are evenly spaced before starting to pulse it will speed up the process. I usually set up using a drill bit and insert the wick afterwards...then with ten seconds of pulsing I am done. Do you use a drill bit to set up?

The slight oxidation of the wick beforehand and doing the wet burns afterwards will lead to a good initial vape. You should always do the wet burns before starting to vape regardless of how you set up your genesis.

Regarding your AGA did you put washers on the positive post? That will make the set up on them a lot easier.

BTW I just got the Natural as well...I like it....stiff button though. I feel like I am doing wrist exercises when I am vaping with it.
