Has anyone used the Flash-e in drip mode? I just did.

A few pages back someone posted a link to a FLash-e V2? Saying it was the last place in the world etc. It was 30 shipped and I got it mainly because I wanted the look of the tank of the V2, its straight etc.

In the meantime I forgot about it, found someone on FB selling the older tank parts and I got them. Then this clone came in. I have to say its just as heavy, the knurling is perfection, its straight. I can see some subtle differences in the way the brush finish is, but its real nice.

Ive been trying to give it away, but no one wanted it.... Im so glad now. It came with the dripper set and a clear sort of combo tank set.

The Dripper mode is real nice, great taste , easy to set up. Im so glad I got "stuck" with it.

Lol, using it in dripper mode right now with long drip tip. Have been the last few days. It's nice to just throw the top on and drip different flavors.

Big drip well, air hole up top so it doesn't leak as easily.

I recently drilled mine out to 1/8 (4mm) Nice vape at 40-45w.

So did you order from that place I found in europe then?

The clear tank part (or stainless) with the long chimney, make it 8ml mode. I've been running that the last couple weeks. I'm surprised its not really that much longer.

Here's dripper mode drilled to 4mm, and in 8ml mode.

Sure did, It was 30 total, and I think 10 of that was the shipping? Really is a very well made clone

See what I mean about the knurling? On most of the clones the knurling is slanted? On this its straight.

Well, I guess I spoke too soon. The FEV clone broke. I noticed it was not performing, so I figured, lets just change the coil...

Well one of the posts started spinning , got loose and then came right out.

Something concerns me, on the Genuine FEV3, can it be taken apart and parts replaced etc? This had soft squishy glue in it, kinda like that hot glue gun. I hope the real one is not glued or has wires?

I also noticed there was a whole lotta juice in it too.

Oh I should have warned you about that. Sorry, guess I just thought it was a known issue. Crap

You can't spin the positive post or you'll break the wire. They are loose out of the box. And if its loose juice will leak though.

I tighten the bottom part insulator on mine (clockwise) with needlenose and the post fits tight now and has for quite sometime, like a year, so I guess it slipped my mind.

The base does come apart and you can resolder the wire. There are pics in the 1st or 2nd page of the thread. Just ignore what he did unless you have a lathe. All you need is the wire resoldered. The hot glue acts as an electrical insulator mainly.

I see some pretty good marring on the post from the pliers....

Yes, I thought I could slowly tighten it up with one holding the bottom and the other holding the insulator. Then it popped off and I said the heck with it, and did not care anymore if I damaged it. Then the wires snapped off at the same moment I saw there was a wire.

Oh well. I dont have a soldering tool.

Wonder if these would work with FeV?
That's plastic, right? (One, that doesn't melt very easily, but still...)
Never EVEN thought about using plastic tubes as feeders!
And yes, will be getting GS 2, thanks for making me spend money.:[emoji24]
