thanks for that review..i just about ordered some today but like you i heard that chocolate is hard to find..

now saying that, i have been very happy with the chocolate in capellas... i have only tried the capellas chocolate coconut almond...the coconut is the dominant flavor but the chocolate is good tasting

I LOVE TPA double chocolate . Thats the only chocolate i can say is as good as capella's chocolates . I have the regular TPA double chocolate and it doesnt have any chemical taste like the FA cocoa and Loranns do . I have the tpa clear one to but have not tried it yet . I did buy the clear though too because iv read lots of good things about it . Maybe you got a off batch? Try letting it steep with the cap off and see if the chemical smell goes away .

Chocolate is not one of my things (probably put off by it PA's Double Choco in my early mixing days), but I've read that Capella's Triple Fudge Brownie? is the best chocolate flavor out there.

Any capella choco is the best .

Capella double chocolate , chocolatealmondcoconut ,choco donut and choco brownie are really good . Iv only tried double choco and CAC and they are what i use the most

This flavor is light in color and has a chemically taste and the smell to me was not pleasant. It just smells fake and does not taste like chocolate to me. To be fair, I've heard that a true chocolate is hard to find.

I bought this too, the dark variety (I believe there's a clear one as well) and it tastes just like a strong old perfume! :( It's been 'steeping' with the lid off for a couple of weeks, and it's still really bad. I've thought about cutting it (maybe I made it too strong?) but I've wasted so much nic on it already, I hate to ruin more :(

The TPA clear coffee too....blah!

I totally agree and you are right this is called double chocolate in clear and the coffee clear is very disappointing as well. Thanks for the input...at least its not just me......LOL

The reason i bought the tpa double chocolates is from searching the DIY area . Every chocolate thread said the same thing as the op in that a good chocolate is very hard to find but they all said tpa double chocolates are the only good ones . Capella is the best overall though no doubt about

Iv never tried a choco by itself though either . I dont think they are meant to be by themself . I always add vanilla or cinnamon or even BC specifically to make the choco base flavor .

I have tried literally every chocolate from every company minus 2 of the choco blends from capellas and none are good at all except capellas and tpa double chocolates . FA cocoa is not horrible but not really good either .

I agree with the chocolate being a mixer only. Have you ever found a cherry that tastes good alone?

Did you let it steep for a while?

try this: e-Liquid Chocolate Double Flavor (HIGH 24mg) Dekang e-Liquid Chocolate Double Flavor (24mg) [e-Chocolatex2] - $4.99 : ValueVapor.com, Discount Electronic Cigarettes and e-Liquid

he also sells it in 12mg and 0 (which I haven't tried) Don't go crazy though cause it takes him a while to restock his Dekang and I'll be mad if it sells out before I get more

We really got to change the name of this section . lol Dont take it the wrong way because i understand it is confusing but for the 20th time lol . This is the DIY flavoring section not eliquid section .

Well I tried mixing the TPA double chocolate (dark) with coffee, cream, and even cheesecake so far and ALL tasted like old, stale, nasty old lady perfume...oh...except the choc/cheesecake, that tasted like vomit. It even had the bile taste, I kid you not.

I took your advice and placed an order for Capella's last night. I got the choc brownie and took advantage of their 6 for $19 special. I'd just like to find a chocolate that I can make a decent mocha coffee with (coffee extraction is the way to go for coffee IMO). I'd be willing to mix it with just about anything at this point though...but the TPA is going in the trash :(

Then i swear you got a bad batch of it which happens . Mine doesnt have even the slightest purfume or chemical taste . Smells and tastes like liquid milk chocolate . You will be happy with capellas though . All of theirs are good from what i hear . I havent tried the one you got but chocolatealmostcoconut and double chocolate i have tried and they are amazing .Its like they melted down chcoclate straight from a hersheys bar and bottled it . If you tried KBV candy bar thats what capellas tastes like .

Btw cheesecake is one flavor i havent found a good one of . All of them i tried taste like sour milk with a side of chemical . I havent tried capellas cheesecake though .
