I switched from a tank system to a dripper 7 days ago. On my Lemo Drop, I was using about 5ml per day of juice on a 1.2 ohm single coil build running about 13w, and the flavor left something to be desired. Now I'm on a 1.1 ohm dual coil build in my dripper at 35w and consuming about 10-12ml per day.

The flavor I get is downright ridiculous. It's so freaking juicy that I sometimes literally smack my lips as if I had just drank a delicious beverage. I've never even been able to taste my juice this well before. The problem is that everywhere I go, I create a cloud cover so large I wonder if it's going to start producing rain, and the side effect of that, as stated above, is burning through juice too quickly.

Is there a way to achieve this flavor euphoria without using so much liquid?

What RDA are you using and what's the pg/vg ratio of your juice ?

If you read through the thread, you will find that it is basically the same thing....

Other than that, you can switch to a much higher PG ratio in your juice. Not going to save you much money, but the flavor is more intense in high PG juices, and your clouds will not be as big.
I read through some of it, and it seemed to be about getting new gear for tootles. I don't want to buy new gear, and I don't think I'd classify myself as one of the people in that thread as of about 3 years ago.

I've been vaping longer than most people on here, so I understand the PG flavor, but personally, I never really liked it, and I'm a bit sensitive to PG, so I can't really consider that an option.

What I'm looking for is a build solution that won't sacrifice flavor but won't use a lot of liquid either. Judging by the responses so far, that's not possible unless I want to use old tech or go party with the tootles. I'm just not believing it. :/

A flavor build for a lemo drop. Got it.

What size is the air port pointing at the coil?

What guage wire are you using?

I guess I should clarify something. The clouds themselves aren't the issue. The side effect of the clouds (ripping through juice) is the issue. My wife is a tootler. I am definitely not. If the only way to get wonderful flavor with max VG liquid is to do what I'm doing, then I guess I'm stuck. :)

Are you pg intolerant ?

It's not necessary to use the Lemo Drop...but OK. I don't know the air port size, maybe 2.5mm? I'm currently using 28ga wire.

Yes. Not as bad as some, but it does irritate me.

You can still use high tech, you just might have to turn the power down..... earn to build coils for flavor rather than max POWER.
That's what I did at first when I got my dripper, and the result was no flavor. I cranked up the watts and all of a sudden I could taste it. I guess I just don't know how to build a coil that will give me a bunch of flavor and sip juice.

Things to try - but it's all a balance between cloud, juice, power, etc...:

- get a tiny chamber atty. It's like "condensing" the vapor for more flavor with less volume. Less volume of vapor...less volume of juice

- see if you can get something good from a single coil. Some folks are suprised they get comparable performance from a 3mm single in the middle, compared to two 2mm coils - and use less juice

And then there's the whole low or high resistance/watts seesaw.
The build and the juice perform differently, but you MIGHT like the flavor better at 2 ohms, or you might like the flavor better at 0.3 ohms... If your mod and airflow can handle both, you might as well try both!

Well for one your using an RDA that was meant to yield a more dense warmer vapor for lower ohm builds that begs for more power like the twisted and Kennedy, if your into flavor I would suggest a different less of a tugboat, that and less expensive juice.

The problem with that reply is I'm not a tootle puffer. I'm much more of a flavorchaser, and will make sacrifices to get it. That being said, I'm still curious if there's a way to harmoniously have both flavor and frugality.

Well I'm a tootle puffin flavorchaser. ;) and yes, you can have both.
It's out of stock right now, but this is the type of topper that you're looking for.
    MicroDrip - Mini ECIG

I've been using this older design for about 3 years now.
    Phoenix/A7 Rebuildable Atomizer

The key is a small diameter properly designed chamber if you want a lot of flavor from a small amount of liquid.
I chain vape, and go through ~4ml of juice/day.
    I use a ~2.0 ohm coil & silica wick, and have to replace 3-4 coils/wicks a year.
The small diameter means they're a little harder to build, but you don't have to do it very often.

The only way to use juice frugally is to use lower wattage.
