Flavor without burning a ton of liquid?

With a regulated mod yes, and depending on the wire used to achieve the OHM rate you could even match the Heatfluxes. .3ohm at 10w 25awg HF of 208 vs 1ohm at 40w 24awg 250HF Granted you might not want to vape from either of these coils as specified..
I was thinking more like the quad parallel 32 gauge 0.4 ohm coil I use in my STM.

IDK what STM is... On my mech that, quad parallel 32 gauge 0.4 ohm coil, would be 38watts and a HOT, juice scorching, wick burning, 424 heat flux. If a STM is some regulated mod I quess it would be vapable at 20 watts or less. But i guess thats the point. There is no ONE way to vape nirvana.

Ways to save $$on Juice, either DIY or Vape less per puff. More likely a combination of the two.

Why not try a dual coil in your Drop? Plenty of room on the deck for side by side or stacked. Even two 28g coils can make a big difference without burning a ton of juice.

Or try something in between a tootle puffer and a cloud rig. I love the EHPro Epoch d1. You can open the airflow all the way for a lung hit, and it has a ton of flavor using two small coils. My MT RTA is vaping very nicely with dual twisted 28g coils and 35W. Better juice consumption than the builds I have in the Aromamizers.

On a mech it would be worse than you think as Steam Engine does not calculate applied heat flux correctly. It calculates total surface heat flux not contact area heat flux. The thicker the wire the smaller the contact patch is so I've come up with a basic correction factor using 28 gauge as reference. For 32 gauge multiply by 2. For 22 gauge multiply by 0.5.
