You just can't go wrong with a $12 mech mod really, I've grabbed one to replace my borrowed K101+ my friend took a shine to as I found the K101 a spot on pulser for new coils as they take a lot of punishment so why not try out a QQ
My brass Nemesis turned up and my new e-juices so am in a world of brass Nemsisisisness right now with a coconut 36mg outta my Focale kayfun 3.1, its really very nice right now although the fresh lemonade I got is awesome in my SteamBoy am waiting on a couple big bottles 24mg's from Focale to see how they post. Will update when they arrive.
Am umming and ahhing seriously on the 3D as it looks to be the better version than the FT one, that would live on my mixed Nemmy.

I do know from the packaging that mine came in that is was shipped out from Wallbuy's warehouse.

CARAVELA 3 TUBE MOD SET ** FIRST IMPRESSIONS **
Straight out of the box, I am not disappointed. Based on initial impressions this Caravela set appears to be all that I was told it would be, which is a 3 Tube (18350/500/650) version of the EHpro 18350 Caravela that I previously purchased from Focalecig.
First thing that I should point out is that this mod set IS NOT made by EHpro, even as it is quite similar in many ways, but also different in some other ways. I also have no idea what manufacturer makes this particular Caravela clone however, I can tell that they absolutely took their cues from the EHpro version of the Caravela.
Here are some pictures including the original packaging (forgive my grubby fingerprints on the tubes) :
Right away I am very pleased with both the look of this tube set, and the quality and feel of it. Like the EHpro, these tubes are thick, heavy, and machined very well. All of the threads are smooth, although they need to be cleaned to remove excess machine oil and dirt.
Please note that this set IS NOT compatible with the 18350 EHpro Caravela that Focalecig sells (I tried)... the threading is different, so you will not be able to interchange parts with the mixed 18350 Caravela.
Also important user notes for those who may receive their set before I have a chance to do a full review .. there is a dual adjusting copper 510 pin in the top cap (see photos), one part of the adjustment is for flush mount fitting of your top device, and the lower part of the pin is used to adjust for battery rattle. You will need a pair of pliers to grip the upper part of the adjustment, which I used in order to unscrew the pin so that I could flush mount my Taifun GT. I was not able to move it with my fingers.
If you are using nipple top batteries, you will need to remove the lower part of the 510 pin altogether in order to fully close up the tubes. This part of the 510 pin unscrews very easily by hand, just make sure you put the pin somewhere safe while its not in use, as you will absolutely need to adjust for battle rattle with flat top batteries.
The brass negative contact in the switch is also a bit long, which then makes for a long throw on the switch. Unlike the EHpro Caravela, you cannot screw the contact in any further to shorten the throw. If you want to shorten the throw, you will need to place a tiny o ring around the neck of the brass contact screw, which will result in a much shorter throw. But the size of the o ring will matter ... too big, and the switch will auto fire your device. I will update this further, later in my review.

Been AWOL, reporting back to duty!!!
Been vaping one of the Russians....the metal taste disappeared, but the damn thing whistles! Well, makes a whistling sucking noise....
Will get some pics together, have only used one of them, no leaks, opened the air port, hits a bit better.........but dahm that whistling!
Still in love with the Svoe Mest, LOL!
Added: Just messed around with the air screw...that's where the whistling is coming from, grrrrrr!
Been vaping one of the Russians....the metal taste disappeared, but the damn thing whistles! Well, makes a whistling sucking noise....
Will get some pics together, have only used one of them, no leaks, opened the air port, hits a bit better.........but dahm that whistling!
Still in love with the Svoe Mest, LOL!
Added: Just messed around with the air screw...that's where the whistling is coming from, grrrrrr!

... I was giving you two more days lady before I put out "the call: ... I know you are busy back at the ranch being that Spring is now here ... I have heard that those Russians can whistle, and some of the Kayfuns too. Some said they rolled a tiny piece of mesh and put in the air hole to stop the whistle??? ... do the dogs come running while you're vaping? We miss you Queen, so don't say away too long.

You see ... there is an upside to all of this.
And the Taifun is worth the time spent to master it .. and it will take you some time to get down "how much wick" to use if you are going the cotton or silica route. If you want to cut out any fuss, and play, I highly recommend getting some xc116 readyxwick in 3mm. One piece, wrapped and you are done! Not so much with cotton and silica ... If you are interested you can get it at RBAsupplies.com, which is the only place I recommend as ceramic wick needs to be treated properly before use, and they specialize in it. It is expensive at $8 per foot however, it is reusable because it does not fall apart, or degrade the was silica does, not too mention it is much more absorbent than silica. You cannot build the Taifun with just one piece of silica, but you can with readyxwick.

Yep, ranch stuff......got a 10 x 16 barn w/loft we're filling and I keep getting stalled by rack and shelving that were supposed to be shipped. The wuffs have already laid claim to it, one tried getting up the ladder! The BF took over my gear shed years ago where his Triumph continues to sit in pieces,
like seriously, none of me ex Harley dudes ever did that! I put a lot of coin into my animal equipment and horse gear, and most of it has been stuck in one of the rooms I need to remodel. (well, actually 2, but don't get me started!) He also likes to leave tools where he last used them, went on a semi serious search and rescue, and just kinda threw up my hands. NOT GOING THERE TILL THE SHELVING COMES!!!!All my DeWalt power tools have been stashed,
hey, this gal ain't stupid! The trick will be sorting through the "His" and Hers" sockets and wrenches......To be fair, the BF has PTSD and Bipolar, 'Nam vet and all that, and he missed a CAT scan last week for Alzheimer's (yep, he forgot). His memory is getting really bad, and it's down to "is it his meds or something else". The 13 year difference in our ages wasn't much of an issue, but it's getting a bit frustrating, seeing what he was 10 years ago and where he is now. Just glad everything is electric in the house, I don't let him smoke those nasty cigars in the house (he isn't doing well vaping) so no worries about the house going up in flames!
