Placed a decent order with focal. $140. Some items were out of stock, so they split my shipment. Shipping was just as fast as FT. When the second lot came in stock, they shipped it. I waited 2 weeks and it never showed. So I contacted Doris and she said they would arrange another shipment ASAP. Tracking showed it was mis shipped and lost.
That same day Doris emailed me and informed me the items were out of stock again. I asked for a paypal refund and it happened within an hour.
Very happy with my purchase experience. Would recommend if you can wait for shipping.

I'm going to guess that PayPal is what ended up being your 'good thing' Vendors do not want to mess with customer, PayPal issues. Now, if you had said that 'Doris' put one of your items aside to be sure you got it 'asap' then, I would have thought, Good Job Doris!! 
Are there any differences between the two kayfuns besides the finish? (at least to me the finish looks different from the pictures)
I could use a couple more kayfuns in my life
Aside from finish, one comes with a parts package ie: spare orings, and clear tank section ... the other one is just a Kayfun Lite with clear section standard, no extras, no steel tank section.
Good to hear on your Aqua and Taifun .. but no tracking# yet for the big order? Did you check your account?
Sounds like you are gonna be in vape mail heaven for while .. Warning, its going to be challenging to keep up with all that you received, especially with it all coming so close together, so tackle one set up at a time. Each item is going to have its own "personality" so to speak. Some things will need more tinkering and adjusting than others, and mechs and RBA's always need to be adjusted to work together.

Well, it's true, yes. But reality, if seller doesn't want to return you a money, believe me, 70% chance they will not, a specially when its e-cig related. Or they can make this processes hell of long.
In case with FC, you just ask about return, don't need open case with PP, what is very rar now days.

That's the reality of majority of businesses now days, without pressure nothing happening most of the time. Its sad, but simple ppl do not know better.
That what make FC such great company and exceptionally different, relationship with customers build on trust and honesty.
And again. Company is nothing without a people. So my personal thank you to Doris for all her hard work.

I do have a tracking number for the big order, it just hasn't gotten into the system yet. No status updates. Getting better at being patient now.
I will probably wait for the Taifun to get here and build that first, as opposed to trying to build the duals on the Aqua first.
I was spotting on FC today and saw their V2 Private kit at 33$ which gives you a sweet Sentinel Private telescoping mod, a FT Trishula atty and a Samsung 29F battery plus charger and case which on the price breakdown isn't too shabby at all. You could probably source the bits elsewhere save the atty which is the first time I seen the Trishula outside FT but would you get all the kit and kaboodle, free shipping as well?
I used the Trishula for some time until I trod on the tank section and all those ppl on FT talking about oxidation etc were a little misguided as it seems to be coated in some sort of thick clearcoat on the deck, the heads are available on FT if not in stock at FC and its quite a nice little unit.
The Private is quite a hard hitter, my M16 sister mod ended up losing its threads on the head so I replaced it with a cheap Sigelei nZonic head and it really is a stonking hitter now, so be gentle gentle with the threads folks.

I think that what FC must get for there's group buys, not usual items.
Totally agree with you on that. Group buys should be for the rarer stuff that they usually don't stock up.

Usually takes 3 days for tracking to show in the system .. sometimes sooner if your package ends up on the "right" truck. ;-)
