Been switching between the Aqua and my AeroTank with microcoil/cotton head since last night. Had the aqua on my Sigelei #20, but was really harsh. Need to get a higher ohm coil I think. Or lower nic, not sure which.
I got a kick helped me a lot. For me it's more like throat hit from PG when it too hot. And i switch it from mech to mech when need it.

First set up i was drinking a juice - was no air draw it all, aha, i guess air hole was plugged - poking/blowing everywhere where possible unplugged that air hole and it works great, thinking to low my nicotine, somehow in no time got overloaded
Device itself came not how it was listed (no biggy, i will take pics and send Doris in case she will want to change pics on web), i got fancy screwdriver keychaine not blue how listed, and small o-rings all white not black. But as i sad it doesn't matter, just saying for a record. And it was pretty dirty, specially driptip. Driptip has white o-ring on it and very loose (but i'm in girly mood today, so anyway put pink drip tip from FT on it and it sit very solid). I believe it's it. I will do all pics (as soon i find my camera)
We deadly need all colors tanks for kayfun like FT has (not going to order it there, my order from march 15 went on restocking today... ..., so not happy)
I'm happy donut, reading so much - how hard is to deal with kayfun... and its it??? Great tank, BUT... what a hell i will do with all those unitanks/BBC/others now, i don't want them any more, they are not so tasty and costly for coil heads... and most important they are not that pretty)))

Different kayfun build.
Remove chimney & center tube (no longer needed).
Mount coil/wick (I'm using XC116).
Attach 1 outer tank, fill w/Cotton.
Attach top cap--VAPE!
Just learned this build tonight.
EDIT ~ You can do this build with a nano tank but if you use just one of the regular sleeves that come with the Kayfun you essentially turn it into a small dripper that holds a lot of juice.

Perhaps a combination of both ... Sub Ohm'ing produces a very hot vape, and intensifies throat hit significantly, one of the reason's that many sub ohm vapers use zero or very low nicotine (below 6mg).

... Actually Laylel, you are more like a spicy donut! I have also heard of many people struggling with the Kayfun, but I have yet to have a problem with it ... everything is just great, so I am glad that you successfully upgraded your "vape experience"
Save all those Unitanks/BBC for someone you know who may want to start vapings, keep a couple for back up, or going out of the house, and sell some of them off in the Classifieds.

This build actually looks awesome Scandal, so thank you for sharing ... I am definitely going to give this one a whirl at some point. I love xc116 wick, I use in my Taifun GT, and was planning to give it a go in the Kayfun once it was time to rebuild it .. think i may try this instead!

The way I saw it built was an all cotton wick. Using XC116 the way I did was my own spin on it.
The person who posted the build got it from FT. I KNOW! SHOCKING! I expected a youtube vid.
Going to find the link & edit this post when I get it.

That is awesome!.. My new Caravela is giving it some competition though, I love them both! ... The 18350 Vela I use nipple tops (AW IMR) with the shortest pin in the "spares pack" no issues. So I would say that nipples or flat tops would be fine.
The fire pin size used also depends on what topper you are using, how long the 510 connection pin is, and whether it is an adjustable 510 ... but I have had the shortest pin installed since the day I got it, and haven't had to change it yet. For flat tops you may need the middle sized pin?
She is a little jewel isn't she!? ... OMG, I was the same way when I got it ... so shiny and beautiful, and my pics never really capture it as good as it looks in person, but damn it if I haven't tried

they're on FT for $11 but I dont want to buy anything from them.
anyone have experiences getting a return from focalecig?
bought 2 protanks from their groupdeal in february, opened the 1st one right away and it's been great (no beauty ring but whatever).
opened the 2nd one last night and the glass tank was cracked.
not really worth the shipping to send back a $9 item. should i cut my losses or attempt?
i didn't sign up for an account when i ordered either.
I'm sorry to say that I'm going to chalk Focal E-cig up to a minor disappointment. 2 orders placed on the 3/22: Fasttech for a Kayfun 3.1 clone and Kayfun nano kit, and from Focal E-cig, a Pulse G genesis.
The Kayfun and nano kit from Fasttech is in route from Chicago and should be on my doorstep tomorrow.
The Pulse G, finally shipped out on the 31st and is in shipping limbo in China still. FWIW, there lead time was 5 days per the listing which means it should've shipped on the 27th.....
The delay is not a big deal. At this point I'm quite used to the wait, but I think I'll be sticking with Fasttech from now on.

Sounds like you're set then! ... 13 days to NY ain't too shaby either. Focal has several good mods for your 18650 tastes .. if you like your mods on the smaller side, the Astro, and the Stingray are smaller than most other mechanical mods in 18650 mode .. as is the Pisces, which is even smaller than the other two I mentioned.
And I will give Doris that note on the tweezer too.

I doubt that Doris would ask you to send back the cracked tank .. send her and email with a photo attached of the cracked glass on the 2nd tank, and explain when it was purchased, and include your order# too. If you don't have your order #, just use the email that you checked out with at the time of your order, and mention that you are a member of ECF in the email.
