Thanks for the info. I did create an Focalecig account when I ordered. When I logged back into my Focalecig account after paying with PayPal and checked order status it did not show an order and gave me an error code. I set up the Focalecig account with my special email I use for online purchases. I have another email I use for personal items and also for PayPal. Maybe that is why I got an error code when I logged in to check order status.

Login with your PP e-mail, as "first time" user create a password.

Left top corner - your e-mail/login - is link - poke
Find a button - my orders - poke
Find your order - poke
Window divided on 2 parts. In top part - right bottom corner - trucking number (in case of kayfun what is on group buy right now, item will not be shipped before April 11, so it would't be there till then or later)

Got a bad neme and I want to write a bad review.

Big burrs on the inside of battery vent holes, which prevent me from inserting battery.
Missing Lock pin on the switch. Can not spin off the switch to take apart and will not fire neither.
Picture shows mixed neme but received a all SS model.
Not to mention machining crap all over the inside and switch keeps sticking.
Threads are crap.

I'm getting a different one from the other site.

Wouldn't you try to contact them? I think it make sense, but in any case your chose.

I did send them a message. But alas, it is holiday and I won't get any response for another may be 2 days,,, sad face.

But also I like to leave a review of the item that I received. Not the item that may or may not be fixed/replaced.

Strange, i did try this from 3 different computers and it works. I'm not a pro, but may it be some cookies or what ever blocks you from opening a link. Right now i did try it from other comp and it does work.

True, it's your right. If wrong defective product was send - someone deserved slap on face, what may not happen if situation will be solved quiet. Not my way to deal with ppl so.

And who knows, you may receive answer before that, pretty often Doris ignores holidays and weekends, but in your case she will have to contact wallbuys stuff, so never know. Hope in end of this you will get great item what you happy with.

Well I am now a customer of Focalecig as I ordered three of the Kayfun Lites that were part of the group buy tonignt. The picture shows a Tobeco box and I was wondering if they are indeed a Tobeco. I have two Tobeco Kayfun Lite clones and they have given me great service for the few months I have had them. I modified one of them this weekend into a Kayfun dripper and it is working quite well. I needed to replace that one and decided to get a couple of spares also.

When does Focalecig notify you about an ordered being made? When ordered is placed, when shipped, etc?

Cranky99 already answered your question however, I wanted to add that Group Buys have a set shipping that is usually 3-5 days after the Group Buy promotion has ended. In your case, the Tobeco Kayfun Lite is scheduled to ship on April 11th, so make sure you make note of this so that you do not think something is wrong with your order.

And yes, the Kayfun is really a Tobeco.

Yes that is why your order is not showing ... You must use the email address that is connected to your Paypal account. You should be able to enter your Paypal email address and it will give your an order status.

At this point your status will only show that the order was made, and that payment is confirmed. Once the Group Buy ends in two days then the status will move to "collecting items". The next status will then say "shipped" however, unless you paid for a shipping upgrade to include tracking, Group Buy orders are shipped without tracking ... If this does not work for you, I suggest that you email customer service now, and pay for the upgrade in shipping being that there is still 4 days before your order is due to ship.

I don't know about you but I would not want an order shipped from China without tracking ...

Well I agree with Laylel, I would first contact FC about the defective product in order to receive a replacement. There is no reason for you to be stuck with a defective product.

I also understand what you mean about leaving an honest feedback, which I agree with however, I think it would be fair to allow the vendor the opportunity to fix the problem, and then leave your feedback to reflect the entire outcome of the situation, ie: first receiving a defective mod, but then also what the vendor did to resolve the issue, which I think is what would be most fair to both you, and the vendor.

There have been customers who have posted here about defective items received, but they all also had their issue resolved by FC with either a refund, or a satisfactory replacement of the item.

Thanks for the reply and info. I am like you in that I do not want an order that is shipped from half way around the world to not allow me to track it, so I did indeed pay for the tracking. For only $1.50 it was an easy decision.

Focal shipment usually arrive within 10 to 15 days after shipping .. to date there have not been any shipments that have been reported to take longer than 15 days upon shipping. With the four orders I have received to date, the average time was 10 days after shipping.
