I am getting on brilliantly with my Kayfun
I actually have a Kayfun Lite (and Turtle Ship) on the way from FC .. Its not the one that has been on Group Buy, it's the one that comes in the Svoemesto box and has the Designed in Russia, Made in Germany on the bottom ... PhatRon and Cranky recently received one, and I love the machining on it, brushed finish, and the fact that it comes with both the clear and steel tank sections .. its also has a lot of positive feedback on Focal's website.
But you know, Focal's newer Kayfun 3.1 looks absolutely stunning! I had forgotten about that one, and kind of wish I had got that instead. The machining looks AMAZINGLY SEAMLESS on it, and it comes with three tank sections ie: a PMMA M-tank.
So nice to see you back Delboy and I hope you get all your ailments sorted out too.
That 3.1 off Focale is the one I have, far better than the KFL lite and + I own but... what seems to be beating that Kayfun is the uber cheap Rocket, really having great vapes with what is the cheapo Kayfun, I have toffee apple in my 3.1 and very distinctive taste, would recommend that flavour
I've nearly finished plating my 3.1 as you can see from the pic below, I'm "pearl" plating the bottom ring and deck so its shiny more than other areas, the top cap will be frosted with copper but brassed in between and the rings are copper plated already, only the bottom base to do but as this is being fitted with the hybrid kit, I'm not too fussed. The photo doesn't show the fill/air port deck being really nicely brass plated too well but its still a work in progress as I am waiting for the salts to make a tank up and plate proper, its a very simple process but time consuming.

, glad you are well, and that my old friend has graced us with a visit ;-) ... Well the listing for the Black Hawk Panzer says (Stainless Steel Paint), so yeah, that baby is painted ... with what? Don't know, and no clue how it would hold up .. Twisted recently did a comparison review on youtube of two Panzer clones vs the original, but can't remember what he said about how the black coating was holding up. I need to do some research on what manufacturers are producing the Panzer clones, and the differences between them.

... I agree, it is amazing how much a simple drip tip can affect, and transform the entire look of a set up. I appreciate drip tips way more now, than I used to.
I got my Aqua. Unexpected.
I kinda do not like it from the beginning, not even sure why (just something about a look all together).
About a tank. Air holes are rusty (thinking about my Prometheus, aha), treads are 50/50, some going great-some not that great, but not bad in end. One drip tip (thinner one) doesn't fit, its to thick will need work on it or just use it somewhere else. Come in black hard box as was listed on web. I will try to build it tonight.

That brings us to the problem child, the nemesis clone. The switch part not only has a big machining flaw, but the darn bottom section is cross threaded and can't be removed.

I`m still waiting for 2 Aquas from FC, but I have the FT Aqua. This should be from the same manufacturer and is very tasty. The drip tips fit very tight and have to, because you can control the liquid flow by turning the drip tip ccw - but I never used that. Don`t give up when the coils are hard to fix. It`s a very good rba and very beautiful on the origin mod.
Give a liitle bit of liquid to the o-rings - this could help.

Don`t press the locking ring too much with your fingers, the material is very thin and the threads lock easily. First you have to loosen the locking ring and than the switch should go off.

Yeah, that bottom cap is NO BUENO! ... that sucks, but at least you have many other toys to play with while you try to get this one issue sorted out ... I'm Jealous of your Chi You btw, can you post pics of the Chi when you have some time?? I have loved the Chi for a long time, but I can't get a good sense of the one from FC based on the photos, so I would love a closer look at her.

You're the 2nd person to say that one of the drip tips don't fit ... Has anyone emailed Doris about this?? ... pics would be great too if you get a chance Laylel.
Oh no, i'm good with this Aqua. Just missing that - omg i got vape mail. More like - ok, what it is here. And this has nothing to do with quality of the product. More like my own bug.
And second drip tip doesn't fit, i mean it, i cannot to put it on/in (not sure what is right) atomizer. I remember someone here did say about it before.
For the price 17.5, i'm good with those cons
Thanks for this tip on the Aqua funkyrudi .. I forgot about the "juice control" aspect of the Aqua, so I guess it would need to fitter tighter in order to move and adjust the juice flow .. look forward to hearing if Laylel can get it sorted.
ETA: just read above that Laylel still cannot make it fit

I did work a long time at dealership for cars (and there is huge garage), guess gona visit old friends, they will get it done in no time (nuke extras from drip tip to make it fit)

I'm hoping the quality is as good as the Infinite version, I canceled my seVen 22 order because the vendor was being shady about the shipping date.....I really need this Stingray to be of good quality and cheer me up.
Check out the V12 clone that Focalecig has. It is the Trident clone and I love it, it is super easy to build on and is my fav RDA I own. It is great to get started with because of the adjustable airflow options.
Oh and Nikki, you should mention to Doris to carry the Fogger V4 if any clones come out any time soon... I saw Todd's review on it and it looks pretty nice
Ive got the v12 and the only thing I don't like about it is that there is only one option for airflow with both holes being used. I need to break out the drill and put another small hole in it to run smaller holes on my larger dual coils. But yes, that is my ONLY complaint on this RDA. It's beast with dual nano coils

Took a shot on the "group buy" of the Nemesis clone (SKU: 18302). The first picture shows the top cap with two vent holes slightly askew, so I don't know if that was a one-time machining error of if they're all like that.
But at $15 with free shipping, I'm keeping my expectations low and hoping to be pleasantly surprised.
