Focalecig ... A new Fasttech??

I have one on order... should be here shortly. Ordered it on Mar 30th. I'll post pics when it comes unless someone beats me to it.

Then the race is between you, and fivefour, he is the only other person who has posted that they ordered the Stingray ...

@PhatRon ... just go for it! I have the Infinite Stingray, and when I compare it to the pics on Focal, I see absolutely no difference ... even the threading looks identical.

I am sure plenty of people ordered the Stingray, you two (johnnysmooth) are the only one's who have posted about your order ... The Stingray looks absolutely mint with my kayfun, and Kraken, so that you made a good choice for a topper.

I received my tracking number 4/4/2014 and just this morning (8:13AM) the tracking information is "Acceptance" then "Origin Post is Preparing Shipment".

I understand it is likely due to the three day holiday but still...13 days to ship.

If it helps you feel any better, I have a package that left Greece on 4/3 and up until 4/11 the only info I had was "origin post is preparing shipment."

I was >< close to making that *where's my package* phone call when it suddenly updated processed/departed sort facility.

Based on current info I'll have it tomorrow but damn! Tracking will kill ya!
Not sure what's worse--waiting or the anxiety due to waiting.

Check out the V12 clone that Focalecig has. It is the Trident clone and I love it, it is super easy to build on and is my fav RDA I own. It is great to get started with because of the adjustable airflow options.

Oh and Nikki, you should mention to Doris to carry the Fogger V4 if any clones come out any time soon... I saw Todd's review on it and it looks pretty nice

I'd be careful with that Todd fella!! He will surely send you to the poor house--there's not a device he doesn't like.

For anyone considering buying stuff from Focalecig, heres my full experience with them...


- I Ordered a nemesis, it was shipped in the time they said it would. Page said "3 to 7 days" they send it in day 5 iirc.
I ordered the 29usd version instead of the less expensive ones because i wanted a REALLY nice clone.

- the shipping time, for me on other sites my average is 26 days. in focal it was 16 days from FE to my doorstep...

I dint catch this because other sites use your account´s "address book" for shipping.
Its of course NOT focalecigs fault, Its mine.
Just be aware of this when ordering, make shure your paypal billing address is up to date, or ask doris to ship to a diferent address.

- Got my nemesis, and what can i say? it is awesome. its a LOT nicer that in the pictures, it has no problems or defects at ALL, in fact its so nice and well made, i cant belive its a clone.
I dont know how good the less expensive versions are, but this $29 version is worth EVERY PENNY i paid for it.

So, how do i feel after ordering from Focalecig? ill let a picture answer that...

The atom is very nice too. That thing is TINY!
The build quality is nice (but not as nice as the nemesis, that one is just flawless).
I have no real issues with it, except these minor gripes:
- Out of the box, The bottom cap treads were quite sharp (as in i cut my finger sharp!). A little sanding and it was ok.
- The bottom spring feels kinda weak. It works fine, but i dont know how long it will last. Very easy to replace if i ever need to.
- The bottom cap part is very small, you cant get a good grip on it when you are gonna disengage the locking ring (its reverse threaded), so sometimes i end up unscrewing the bottom cap instead of the locking ring.

Its a nice little mod, but overall i find the nemesis a lot more "comfortable" and easy to use.

On the picture i posted before were the atom and nemesis, both in 18350 + kick mode. Nemi is only about 5mm taller.

Atom in 18350 + kick, with a kayfun on it. A fogger v3, SID, and 18650 batt for size comparing (sorry about the terrible quality of this pic, poor light. And it ALSO got rotated when uploaded! )

Overall, i like the atom a lot (but not as much as the nemmy). For 17 bucks, i would ABSOLUTELY buy it again.
If you are considering getting one, and like telescopics, my advice is go for it!

Thanks for the illustration! .. If I didn't already have the Astro, I would probably still be really into the Atom, but the two are fairly similar, most especially in size.

And I am still so Yes, No, Maybe with the Nememsis too ... You know what clone I am really looking forward to? The Turtle Ship V3 The clone for the latest version is still a ways off as the V3 is still at pre-order status, but my goodness it is truly a collector's mod.

Ugh, the V3 is everything! Some people do not care for the extensive engravings on the body, but I LOVE THEM! I did pull the trigger on the Turtle Ship V2, its on its way now, and I am very excited about it.

The Stingray and Caravela are also some of my favorites, I am using both right now, so those are some good future purchases to look at.

In other news today ... I was just stalking Focals website and WHOLLY COW, there is a major facelift going on over there! The site looks very different, and there have been some changes to the layout on the product pages, specifically the review section ... So far all of the old product reviews have disappeared, so I hope they will eventually pop back up.

Now there are options for adding photos and videos, as well as a 5 star rating system ... Focalecig is moving up in the world!
