The Squape Group Buy in an insanely good deal, so I hope those babies turn out to be great!

I wouldn't jump on this group buy to quickly! I just received a Squape from them and it's unusable. One of the posts isn't properly threaded, it comes with extra screws and they will all thread in but none will tighten, so the problem is the threads in the base. I've sent an Email to them to see how they want to handle it. This is my 4th Squape clone, first from FC, none have been usable out of the box, but this is the first one that I can't make work with a little ingenuity. So I'd be leery of jumping into the group buy no matter how good the price.

here they are, cleaned up and coiled. Not sure if it's the juice or the RDA but the Lotus is hitting really harsh. I only did one coil on it since I wanted to give it a try and don't want to take forever. The Aqua is vaping amazing though. Pain in the ... to coil and tighten the posts but once I got it it's real smooth.

As far as I know there are no threads in the base except the 510 screw. I think the posts, that should be pressed into the positive and negative base, are not pressed in well. They are turning with. Write a mail to sales@focalecig.com . If you can make a short movie with your mobile, enclose it.

Yeah, we already know about the bad Squapes from the first batch ... these on the Group Buy are not the same, the issues from the prior batch were resolved, and that is why they are on Group Buy, to make up for the first bad batch that was put out. So its all good. :D

Did you contact FC about this problem?
As far as i know every reported Squape was replaced, well here ppl said FC sent fixed base. Also when they placed this group buy they said it's fixed. I don't think they will kick out 150 (for now) item issued items - it's just murder of own company.

Strange man, like for me - really strange, keep buying 4 screwed atomizer, from the same place and do not say them anything, as for me $100 for something what you aware is not working.

Somewhere in this thread was posted pics how to fix squape.

PS Nikki you nay want to add it to a blog (may be)

Ouf ouf, that Aqua is looking so sexy! And I don't even like the hammer, but they look really good together. Delboy posted something today about the Lotus not hitting quite the way he expected ... Don't remember his exact words, but his post is one or two pages back. :)

I gotta get an Aqua ... eventually :p

Yes, he should contact FC asap, and arrange for a replacement base ... Doris has verified that the Squapes on Group Buy are not going to have these issues, as they have been worked out, and all the Group Buy Squapes are coming from a new batch.

From other customers feedback, everyone who previously received a faulty Squape, were sent a replacement base free of charge.

The steel sleeve that's pressed into the base isn't turning, what's happening is that you can actually push the screw in and then pull it out with your fingers so it's either improperly threaded or the wrong size sleeve, as the one on the other side works fine I'd go with improperly threaded.

If the issue was resolved why would they continue to ship out the bad ones? LOL it's all good? how would you know?

The Hammer has quickly become my favorite thing. It's my first mechanical, though, so I may find others I love more eventually. I wanted a pipe mod a lot and I see it as a really nice looking one that handles 510 connections while looking good. Anyway, back to the Aqua. It's right up there with my Russian 91% now that I've used it a bit. Very nice, no leaks. One question, though. When you fill it, is it proper to remove the top to fill it that way or is there some other way? Didn't see a fill hole anywhere and that's the only way that made sense to me. It worked perfectly fine but I wanted to make sure it was the right way.

Maybe you can solve the problem in the same way you fixed the disconnection ;) . I guess you had a disconnection or changing Ohms at your other Squapes and repaired it with the Kanthal method. Why not put some thin Kanthal into the sleeve to hold the screws. So you could use it while you wait for a new base.

I'm having vaping crises, no matter what i build doesn't work (here is "smile" of hitting head into a wall) I love and i hate this bloody Taifun GS and i still didn't get to build GT.

The proper amount of wick, and keeping it wicking is the biggest issue with the Taifun GS ... she also does not like thick eliquid, at all ... a 50/50 blend is the highest VG content that should be used with this one. When I used 50/50, it wicked consistently.

Its also a good idea to keep at the resistance at 1.8 or higher ... it doesn't wick fast enough to keep up with lower ohms. She is like most problem children, when she misbehaves, you wanna kill her. But she when she is good, she is an absolute angel.

The Group Buy Squapes haven't even shipped yet ... as far the those from older batches, the issue didn't exist on every single Squape, as reported in this thread. So they didn't know which pieces were good, and which were bad until a customer told them so.

And how do I know? ... I commented on the prior page that Doris from FC informed me, as she does with all issues that may affect the customers here at ECF. :)

That's funny part so, it work just sweet at 0.7 on 7W... but now at 2.2 and 6W - it's torches. Gona recoil it back to 0.7. You se with my 33 AW it's only 3 wraps... coil looks funny))). Having 30AW on way somewhere there.
