Well, the kayfun has been put to the side until I have patience again to deal with it. I went to refill it last night and it started leaking again from the air hole. I drained whatever juice I could save from it and cleaned it up and set it aside for now. I need to find a good you tube video I guess that shows o ring placements . As it is, I have no idea if I am missing one or what. Or exactly what im doing wrong with it.
So far, im not impressed.

What i had seen from all videos and only in one from a lot of them, most often missing o-ring, what cast leaking, is little one in top part of tank under drip tip. Sorry to hear you have a problems, i just went this way with Taifun (lost 2 bottles of 15ml juice) very frustrating.

The top cap has two o-rings, one on the outer threads and the one underneath for the chimney. The chimney o-ring must be in great shape, replace it with the included spare but be sure to lubricate it with eliquid on the top and bottom before placing it in the top cap.

Try filling with water instead of eliquid to check leakage.

Check check. All o rings in place. I am back in bidness. Rebuilt again for lower ohms since my other build was too high. Put everything back together snug and filled her up thru the bottom fill port. No leaks. Guess im going to be using the fill port thats meant to be used until we get better acquainted. Although I am stubborn and will probably continue to try the top fill method. :p
As of right now, our love affair has been rekindled.
Thanks guys!

Arg! While I was steady vaping all was well. I set it down and ate, came back to leaking all over from the air hole. If i close off the air hole with my finger I get no draw at all so I dont think there is an air leak. My whole tank of juice is almost gone now.
I have a question, next to the air hole is a slanted hole for airflow adjustment right? Is there supposed to be in screw in there? I shined my flashlight in it and see no screw or anything.

Got my EHPRO Black Kayfun in. Pretty much identical to my ss one. Built well, filled it up and have no leaks. The coating is actually pretty nice. Small nick on the bottom so I'll have to wait and see if it gets worse with wear but it looks solid, no peeling around the nick. So far I really like it. Put a .7 ohm coil on it and it capes well. NO WHISTLE! My ss EHPRO Kayfun does whistle a bit, I don't hear any of it on the black one at all.

I build the tobeco KFL with the nano kit. First I tried it with water and without additional o-rings and leaked immediately because the o-ring in the top cap is far too big for the chimney. Next I added a 5x1mm o-ring on the chimney and there was still a little leakage. The Nano chimney didn`t come with an o-ring and after adding one it stopped. So I dried everything and filled it with liquid via filling screw. The micro coil is at 0,8 Ohm and I used cotton as usual. Taste and vape as good as usual and no leakage. I left it upside down for half an hour, laid it on the side and no leakage at all.
And with a small DT the KFL is even smaller than the 3.1/nano/adapter - both in 18500 mode

Hi Nikki,
I notice you don't have a sig, why not put something like this for a sig?

Just a thought, people don't know to check your blogs...

:vapor:

That is a good idea Burnie my luv ... do you think the signature should be of the actual links to the blogs? Can I do that?

Its a better than the one I tried to create :p ... If you remember the post of me cuttin up with Cranky about the webcam stuff, that "tipsy Nikki" GIF was actually my attempt to make a signature  ... it was a bit of a fail so I never used it.

Still haven't decided on a 23 mm mod to put the Squape on, but I did notice that SKU 14005, Nemesis Style Mechanical Mod - Silver Golden( Without logo), is back in stock. I seem to remember someone in the thread waiting for that one.

Well which 23mm mods are you considering?? Let us know, and those of us who have them can chime in with feedback .. Decisions are the worst! :p
I am even reconsidering my own pairing choice with the Squape, I will of course have a better idea once it gets here. I have been checking out this new mod by Youde (V14) its a brass mod with a gorgeous antiqued bronze finish, and it has a stainless accent ring on the body. it is also 23mm, so I am considering this one now. :D

It also has slightly less voltage drop than a copper Nemesis, so its definitely a good candidate.

Oh dear ... I wish I had mine already so that I could better advise you, which is hard to do without being able to see all of your parts, as well as your build. I have a 3.1 and a KFL (w/o air flow control), and I don't have any leaking issues with either of them. I do recall a couple of months ago that someone here had a problem with their KFL, but I chalked it up to user error ... Not sure if your issue is user error, or there is something wrong with the build of the device.

There should be a screw inside the air flow control hole, so this may be where your issue is coming from because it could be releasing your vacuum seal on the tank ... Check your spare parts for an extra air flow control screw, and install it into the Kayfun.

ETA: Hun can you post a picture of your current Kayfun build with wicks installed so that we can see it? Pics without the chimney, just the base and build.

Don't know how I missed all of these posts earlier ... Wow, this is looking really good! And I like that the internals were not coated in black as well. Ok, this is promising for the EHpro Rose Copper KFL ..

I almost wish the chimney was black because I think it would look better, but I intend to get a gray or blue window piece for it so it won't look silver once I do that anyway. It did end up leaking a little from the fill hole until I cranked that down a bit harder. Felt too hard but there is an o-ring there so that was probably the resistance I had felt.

I'm realizing I prefer my Russian to my Kayfuns only because the air adjustment screw is on the side instead of the bottom. Easier to adjust. Doesn't need adjusting too often, though, so it's not a big deal.

It's hitting too hard right now since I usually build .9 ohm coils not .7 but that's my own fault. On my mechs I keep getting the occasional burnt hit unless I use my hammer with it's smaller and lower amp battery.

Oh, and it does whistle a little now. It started up after a bit.
