Focalecig ... A new Fasttech??

Excellent! ... You know, last night I was feeling like this Kraken is a beast ... maybe too much of a beast in that it hits much harder than my other Genesis, to the point that I was couging a lot. I couldn't take my usual long, lung inhales with it, only mouth inhales... I need to figure out what I can do to make it hit softer, maybe build it with cotton? But it could also be the combination of the Caravela which is a hard hitter, and the Kraken.

Is the X9 the cartotank? I am looking forward to filling and trying the carto tank of the Marstech, the form factor of the device was surprising, it is well put together, nicer than the pics.

Looking forward to hearing what you say about the brass Origin mod ... I love the look of brushed brass mods when they are new, but I have steered clear of them because I am not into the patina finish they develop, and not sure I am up for the polishing needed to keep it pretty.

As for cleaning, I use a Brasso infused wadding, we used to call it Duraglit but Brasso bought them out and its really good for all metals and stops brass and copper from tarnishing, I have a faceless man coin pendant from Game of Thrones which is brass and I did it a few weeks ago and still shiny, my nemesis which I do once a week looks like its covered in liquid glass, apparently its also good for things like scratched cd's and glass phone screens too according to their website, I know America had its own version of Duraglit but don't know what its equivalent of the old Brasso is (Someone told me the Australian version is better as they use quartz as an abrasive instead of fine glass sand in the modern version but it works for me)

My bad on the x9 it seems to change on their website hehe its again back to an X8, I bought it because I have a box full of new and unused dual and triple coil carto's and I quite liked the knurled knob fill ports on it, the little knobs and the 510 connection seem to be gold metal colour, took a good while to sdak up before it got rid of the dry taste but its there now and very pleasant tasting.

My eldest has a QQ coming for her birthday, she's outgrown the CE type of atomisers, she wanted the orange one and I got her a big pot of her favourite flavour too, youngest is quite happy still with the CE's.

Will update on the Origin brass, I'll have it gleaming like new in no time hehe and it has a hard act to follow on the Nemesis and my Hammer but at 19 dollars it had to happen

And as far as the Marstech QQ aside from my initial impressions, I haven't used it yet, but I will begin within the next couple of hours ... I have actually been working on some photos for member bcme who asked about coil heads for the Marstech T3, which I am posting as soon as I am done with this post.

But it looks promising though, much better looking in person, and the form factor is actually pretty cool .. I was surprised (thought it might be clunky, but not at all). For anyone who likes the K100 mech, I can't imagine that they wouldn't like this also, possibly more ... but of course the true test will come when I use it. Gonna fill the tank in a bit and get to vaping ... I shall report back.

Today I received my Taifun GT clone from focalecig,
Quality is excellent,, en has also changeble airflow tubes..SS Deck, extra set O rings , and every part fits smooth. loving it ,

(sorry to say but really much better then de FT Taifun clone I already have )

I keep hearing that the Focalecig Taifun is a better quality than FT ... Thrasher said the same thing, so now of course I have to get one, but I am not sure if it will look good on the Caravela 350 mod?? The Caravela is very classy looking, what do you think?

Really? interesting ... whenever I checkout the EUB is already selected, and then there is an option for HKP, but it shows up second on the list for selection. I wonder if location, or item purchased has anything to do with it, but good to know anyway. When HKP is functioning normally, they are also pretty fast. I used them back in October and both times I received my package in exactly 8 days.

Well so far it has been 25 days or so for both FT and FC so we will keep waiting . I have the taifun coming in too

You are such a good Dad!! .. you wanna adopt me? I think your daughter will like the QQ plenty, I think this is the perfect beater mod for out and about. I usually take my Ego Twist and an Aspire out when I leave the house because I will never take my babies (Mechs and RBA) outside. I want to preserve them in their gorgeous glory

I also heard that you can use toothpaste to polish up brass, do you know if it works well? ... and ketchup too

Hey ... I only "heard" someone voice their opinion that they think the deck is chromed, but that person didn't actually have one... so don't panic. I don't have any reason to believe that the deck is chromed, but I do have some pictures of it, so I will go and check them. I can't post the pics because I don't have permission to do so, but I have seen the device fully dissembled and do not recall seeing anything chromed brass ... and I have several chromed brass RDA's so .. will be back. In the meantime, do not be afraid to send Doris an email and ask.

This is for member NiNI ... ok so I looked at the picture of the deck, and I even blew it up, the only thing chromed brass are the screws that secure the leads for your coil, that is it. This building deck is not even close to chromed brass. It really pisses me off when people go around spouting off crap based only on unfounded assumptions, and not fact.

I would post the pic, but again I don't have permission to do that ... I only have them because I asked to see what it looked like, and the only reason why I haven't bought one is because it is polished stainless steel, and I prefer brushed.

The irony of the whole thing is I got the initial Tobeco because it was supposed to not have plating on brass, but when I soaked that sucker before I put it together, there was discoloration that showed up around the juice port on one side in the interior below the screws. Hmmm.

This will happen if you soak anything that has a chromed brass component, which are usually just the minor parts such as screws. As much as it is recommended by users (not necessarily qualified one's either) I don't ever "soak" my gear, even as I do thoroughly wash everything with hot water and a grease cutting detergent... clean as a whistle. IMHO, soaking your devices is overkill, and totally unneccessary.

Do whatever makes you feel comfortable, but just make sure that you remove all screws from your device before soaking them .... no need to ruin any aspect of your gear, including your screws.

Actually am wanting a red v2 zmax since my red vamo from FT died last week and it was only 3 months old. Didn't see it on their/focalecig site but tried to get FT to give me a price without charger/clearo extras and that went about as well as the keyboard and mouse I bought that doesn't work right.
