Where did this come from and is it stainless? Love it!

Yeah I like this one better than the Black Copper ... I'm not a fan of black and gold tones, but I can appreciate black and silver :D ... speaking of which, my love affair with the SS Stingray is going strong  I consider myself lucky to have so many "favorites" as far as mechs are concerned.

I don't know Drip Cat, I don't have a nautilus  Did this come from FC? .. the spring loaded 510 pin will allow you to flush mount it to anything.

Yes it came from FC. I just got it recently. Vaped a tank and very happy with it. I didn't realize it would be spring-y, but I like it!

Thanks. One more Stingray. Red Copper is on the way. About to put my order in with FC for the other mods I want.

And yes I like the SR. Don't have a Nemmy. Always wanted one but there so many varieties I wouldn't be able to make my mind up.

That new red copper stingray does look really cool, and I don't really like the shiney mods, I have 8 mods and only 1 is shiney, have 1 wood, 1 copper and the rest are black, but I am tempted by that red copper SR.

Now having both the nemesis and stingray, I can say I much prefer the stingray on looks, performance wise, they are both on par, both are the best for using with kayfuns.

 "Spring-y" made me giggle ... I actually like the Aerotank Mega a lot, but I just can't see myself going back to replacement coils :( Can you rebuild the Nautilus coils?

Brushed stainless used to be my #1 preference, but I have grown into a appreciation for polished finishes, in spite of the constant up keep :p I am really digging the Red Copper Stingray, but patinas still make me nervous.

    Cranky (Marilyn),

Here is the bottom post that I drilled out with a 1/8th bit. Countersink the hole for a cleaner look. Also the positive pin post I countersink those 2 air holes for better air flow. More beveling it.

I would get fed up with constant cleaning of shiney's, but also I have allergy to bare metal when in contact for a long time, I get a rash, so I would need to wear a glove with how much I hold my mods

On to the Orochi. Took the bottom cap off and cleaned all the excess material from machining. There was a bunch. Spring switch feels solid. I'm still not getting that lock ring thing. It's not all that. Let me practice with it more. Oiled all the threads. Positive pin is adjustable. Floating pin with threaded contact.

Wow, thanks for posting details pics of the Orochi ... the thing that had me the most intrigued was the switch design with the unique locking ring mechanism. The pull down and twist a quarter turn? Not sure the cloners nailed that aspect of the design ...

Well she sure looks pretty :D I have a set up with the Orochi and a brass Kraken, and I thought is was really slick looking.

Isn't there an ignore button? 500 pages strong is a worthy thread in my opinion. Most threads don't even make it past 5 pages. The other people around you and involved in the thread are still here. :)

You gonna leave us hanging like hungry kittens in a box outside :pervy: :p :( Don't do that. I come on this thread all the time. It's my main stop when I'm on ECF and my last exit. :headbang:

It's sure is quiet up in here.

But this one for you Nikki. :rickroll::nun::danger:

At the mean time. I need my popcorn :pop: it's getting real up in here.

    shiny toys!

Also, huge pic is messing with my iPad so I am typing this without being able to see it. Please ignore any typos. :)

It does look good. But it's not a pull down quarter turn. It's pull down and spin it all the way to lock. Feels like there should be a mini spring there to have that snap.

Oh .. I watched a review for the authentic about a month ago, and I though it was only a quarter turn, but I am going off memory, which could be wrong. :p

I'll interested to hear your later thoughts about it after you had a chance to use it for a bit. :)

Hopefully she will be back around this evening, I can't seem to find Marilyn at the moment

    I'm here. Kinda

Are all the pins on the nautilus springy like this?

I just checked mine and it is not springy.

I've heard you can but I haven't looked into it. I rarely use mine. It's still on the first tank I filled it with a couple months ago.

I would trust you to do it long before I'd trust myself. Ever see those awful pics online of someone with a drill bit stuck through their hand? That would be me.

Sorry. I'm having fun with the Igo W6. Quad coils are insane. Lol.

Report back after a day of use. Will take these 2 with me and see how it goes.

You know, I had my eye on the IGO W6 because it has that brass accent, so I thought it would match up well with some of my mods w/brass accents. Its nice to have a at least one good dripper, but RDA's will never be my main thing because I don't like dripping so much. But it is a very attractive device and it looks good with the brass SR.

The nitecore i2 or i4 Intellichargers are awesome, I love mine. It detects the best charge setting for the battery type placed in it, and it automatically stops charging when done. And is also has reverse polarity protection, so I highly recommend it. . :)

Oh btw, after some deliberation I ordered a Nitecore i2 this weekend on Amazon. It was only $11!
The new Nitecore Digicharger D4 looks badass though!

I would actually like the i4 Nitecore .. I always have several mechs running at the same time, so it would be nice to be able to charge more than 2 batteries at a time. Thankfully is charges pretty fast, and 350's are usually recharged within an hour or so.

$11 bucks is steal though! I could always buy another i2 :D
