The old 510 pin is perfect for use with the 4nine, and is one of only two rba's that I have which are suitable for use with the 4nine ... I don't understand why these manufacturers would take a perfectly executed KFL, and change it??? Haven't they heard the saying "if it ain't broke, then don't fix it".

Last edit: I have a feeling it's absolutely different clone like absolutely. Even machining on hole atty doesn't look the same. I wouldn't be surprised some idiot just was lazy to look for right one and pull what ever from stash. One of my boxes come without sku label, and other looks like taken from somewhere, i didn't mention it before but it was 4 days delay on shipping, that's why i think it's different item.

Definitely contact Doris and send it back ... I already mentioned this to her in a recent email, so she is somewhat aware that there is a problem/difference with sku 12113.

oops. just found 4 screwdrivers which are capable to penetrate that tiny hole.. i didn't think they were so thin.
my toolbox is being improved everyday. yesterday, i considered to buy a dremel and quality accesories, after breaking 2 drills and 1 tweezer while trying to drill the igo-w

I got a dremel too... Soon i will be for sure kicked out of the house, my vaping stuff just grows and grows... I'm thinking about getting little wood lathe, aha, to make my own pipes. But i will wait, when my hubby will "swallow" dremel, multimeter etc etc, hole box of very useful stuff. I have my own toolbox, where hi is not allowed and it pisses him off

Groove on top cup is to deep, and i can't fix it, i did put 2 o-rings, 1 bigger rubber o-ring, nothing helps, It keeps leaking. Well, i will contact Doris. I got this particular clone for only one reason - no pain in any situation. I will return them. Really for same price get V2 what has good reviews. I know i said i will keep them but the way how they are they not only not good, they are not usable.

Edit: i did try it with o-ring on base, i just got dry hits all the time no matter how much wick i did put. So i checked o-ring and put more wick, it mutes the taste (compere to first bunch B#1). If i put same amount of wick like B#1 it's leaking like crazy. And now i'm fighting o-ring on top cup.

Oh well, i do not worry. I still didn't contact Doris, wanted to give it a try before i cry about it. Gona do it today, i'm sure she will find good solution for this issue.

How crazy is it that when I first reviewed this KFL, I highlighted the very long 510 pin on it, which was only an issue for mods without a adjustable top cap ... now the pin is too short

yeah, i was waiting for this sku anxiously.. you talked wonders of it, and i was getting some issues with the "tobeco" one..
but .... happens. a brilliant engineer felt inspired to "improve" the creature.

the sku label in the box is right: 12113. since i've tightened the 510 pin, it's not leaking.. crossing fingers.. i found the right kayfun build for my high vg juices. so i'm enjoying it, air flow is a bit tight but correct, and flavor is enhanced (maybe i loaded the best flavor from the test shelf, randomly ). vapor is dense. just like the other kayfuns.
if it goes back to leaking, as yours, Laylel, due to the chimney sealing, i'll consider returning it back. gonna use it massively, to check every flaw. will report.
my infinite v2, from ft (how i wish to have waited), came with the 510 pin full of rods. maybe the worker thought to gift me some extra metal. very kind. i also keep the tobeco/group buy one (managing it quite well now) ... and a golden 3.1 es (don't tell it around there). so i'm plenty of kf

i live alone, but was complaining recently about the need of time to throw the trashes away (it would be about half the content)..
can't show pics of my gear because it would be difficult to locate it inside the madness of all kind of items..
will clean it out ever, when other urgent tasks are done

I have a dremel, but I need to get replacement heads though .. you definitely need a diverse tool box in this vape game. ;-)

got some burn tastes with most atomizers before, but never had a dry hit. it was unexpected, just chained a few vaps, not too hard..
the build is 2 hours old; microcoil 28g, 1.5ohm, small amount of organic cotton.. guess it's the new wonderful gift: the base o-ring. it's a silicon wall for the juice flow.
this clone is becoming a nightmare from being one of the best.. guess i'll join you trying to return it back, Laylel

I don't get it, who the heck got this wonderful idea... It's first time ever i see Kayfun with o-ring on base. Smarty guy just did channels tooo deep and fixed it. Shame on him.

My point is, yea, may be it's possible to do this kayfun work, but it is price brackets even for clones. This is $27 clone should work like charm (and it did work, other way i will not buy 2 more absolute the same atties), $15 one for PITA is ok.

Anyways i'm done ranting about it, I will let you know what Doris will answer about it.

yes, i got it yesterday. wanted to test a kayfun 3.1. had to test some hybrid kits i bought in advance lol. it's been a surprise: fan of brushed ss, like you are, and hater of goldies. but now i'm watching it, and really like it. i took a random flavor from the self, and it has the exact same gold color than the kf!. it's not a shiny, clear gold; it's more like bronze. well machined, but i can't compare because it's the first kf3.1 i see. the screws are not ss (to find a flaw..). i'm going to take a pic for you (and for the shiny bird Laylel).. if i find a suitable place in this mess..

i was trying with the o-ring. now, i'll empty the tank with a syringue, and will remove the o-ring. my first impression when i took the o-ring off when naked, is that the chamber wasn't fitting flush the base. will report

ft made a record sending the kfl v2. it took about half the usual time.
it's very very nice, you are going to have a crush on it for sure.
but couldn't taste it because of the blocked 510 pin. to find a flaw, the deck screws and the positive block aren't ss.

the juice channels are normal. some people report vertical juice channels not finished: i had to sand one of them a bit to match the other one.

the chimney/top cap o-ring is recesed into the grave, and sucks the chimney quite well. so let's hope this won't leak due to the chimney.

i've not tried the air flow control. the width of the 510 pin hole is narrower than the kfl 12113 (i tried to leave the 12113 and use its pin in the v2 lol)

Nice .. I keep hearing that the gold Kayfun 3.1 is well machined, so it looks like we have another winner on our hands. I like that you said its more bronze, than gold. and I would LOVE to see pics when you get a free moment and a suitable place to snap a pic.

KFL 12113 - this sounds like a batch that were improperly machined, and this oring around the base was supposed to be some type of a fix But at this high price point (the most expensive KFL in China) that is totally unacceptable. "Get it right, or do it over" ... this is unfair to the vendor as well. I am sure FC felt had no idea that this batch was any different than the prior batches, especially since they have been selling this KFL for many months, and up until now, all of the feedback has been stellar, in those left on the website.

I am sure I will totally love it, provided that I get one that is properly machined. Most of the feedback I have read is positive, but as you mentioned I have also read that some are reporting shallow juice channels.
