That is not an Evic supreme. That is a standard Evic. The Evic supreme is a 30w tube that looks like this. I've been impatiently awaiting either an Evic supreme or the KSD 30w mods to show up on either Focal or fasttech.

First class shipping to the US from Canada will cost $12-15 based on what shipping cost were last time I was there ... Canada Post is pricey, so that sucks, but it is still cheaper than shipping it back to China.

i'd wish it was the evic supreme that price! it's the "normal" evic, nice price for it anyway..



i've removed the base o-ring. didn't get the tank empty using a syringue.. just opened the tank when i was trying to unscrew the atty from the mod. ontario lake..
the cotton was dry when opened the chamber. the base o-ring must be removed, no doubt.
then, when screwing the chimney to the chamber, it wasn't sitting flush: it was showing a gap of about 0.5mm. don't know why, tried the two positions of the chamber piece.
filled with some juice, and started with a few short puffs. the battery got very very hot. short: the 510 pin was recesed again, so it wasn't doing proper contact. after unscrewing a bit the pin again, i was able to screw the chimney flushed (don't ask me for the relation between the 510 pin and the chimney screwing).
now, it's vaping ok, very nice flavor (enjoying a new one: "tuscan garden" from inawera, it tastes to toasted sunflower seeds together with leather, to me at least) and dense vapor (how i wish to taste the original version of this clone!) .
it's leaking a bit via the 510 pin (as the positive block and insulator are loose in the deck). i'm checking if i get leaks via air hole (i guess it's your kind of leaking in this one), but didn't notice it yet, will report.
i managed to avoid leaking in my other kfl, by not bending it (always vertical, except when vaping), and by changing the build: now i only use organic cotton and micro/macro coils, trying to leave the "thread" ends fluffy over the juice channels. however, it always leaks a lot when the tank is almost empty (i guess the chamber vacuum is lost when not liquid around).

Listen ... no RBA is supposed to be this much work, Kayfun's are just supposed to work, so I think this "revised" 12113 is simply no bueno. My original 12113 is very effortless, and has been since the day I received it. I really would like smack the manufacturer who changed this perfectly good KFL, and I know violence is not the answer, but sometimes it is

This is clearly a batch that was botch during production ... the bases were not properly machined, and so the chimney does not seal properly. Instead of doing it over correctly, the manufacturer figured that they could smack these orings on the base to make up for the machining error, but clearly it fixed nothing. When will this manufacturers learn?

When they do these bad band aid fixes, it only makes matters worse ... FOR EVERYONE, the vendor, the customer, and ultimately the manufacturer who will be replacing, and/or refunding the vendors who have to return this crap for a credit. So in the end, the manufacturer just waisted a lot time, and money, and created a lot of unhappiness and sour faces around the world.

Sorry guys .. once upon a time sku 12113 was an awesome, great quality KFL.

thank you, Nikki the pics were improvised, and so were the setups. i got some colored tanks and nano kits, so will prepare an scenario and take good pics of my little collection asap. the only remarkable in these pics, was the golden kf3.1 on a 16500 silver stingray: 50% gold, 50% silver (till i get some bronze/golden mods). anyway, i'm still focusing in the pragmatic side of the thing, forgetting the aesthetic side. i'm lazy and this is healthier for my credit card

btw, i've pulled the air control screw out in the golden kf. the draw is still tight (for my preference), but works very well.

i'm dedicating some effort to the 12113 because it's giving me my best kf vapes when it's working, and because returning it back is not so easy. maybe with a fast few tweaks, it is enjoyable 100%. but you are right. there are lot of out of the box working clones, to waste time in a defective one.

the new 12113 is the same in Doris' pics than in yours, and identical to the one i've received.
the noticeable differences with the old 12113 are the screwdriver and the extra o-ring in the base. it's impossible to see the other differences in those pics. but we know there are. shorter 510 pin, and other differences that you could check comparing both versions (i don't have an aold 12113).
i don't know if it's a coincidence, but, once i've removed the base o-ring, i'm getting the densest vapor and flavor with this atty. only leaking a bit (via 510) due to the loose block in the deck. i'm wishing it starts leaking ontario way, to definitely reject it.. anyway, i can talk to Doris, and detail the problems that it's giving to us, or whatever you find adequate.

Ignacio ... this name is familiar to me, and I am trying to remember why .. anyhoo, duly noted Doris knows all of my names, and feel free to reference it, and the fact that you are a ECF member when speaking to her about this issue.

Random suggestion .. have you tried putting the oring that is around the base, around the chimney instead once its screwed on? Perhaps it can help maintain the seal, without creating dry hits??

Should work but don't know if I'll use it since this one is copper and I managed to .... up a brass one without noticing. Guess I'll keep it for backup in case I kill the last 2 remaining threads on the original one before I get a replacement.

I did what I should have in the first place and emailed Doris. She has contacted the supplier and is trying to get me a replacement. Doris is wonderful!

Speaking of copper it seems there is a beautiful copper Nemesis in the group buy. Almost seems like it was placed there just to temp you. Everybody needs a Nemmy

I discovered the problem when I was putting an Igo on it, so the Igo is staying there and not being unscrewed until I have a replacement. Not the most aesthetic mod, but luckily I don't have your sense of style

I had thought of trying brass and copper, but after severely injuring my first mech containing even a little bit of brass in less than a week I am sticking with steel only. That eliminates a large amount of temptation right off. It also eliminates the desire/need to have an atty in a matching material.

Oh you're welcome .. I love this mech so much, so it sucks that you are not able to fully enjoy it at the moment .. Your Stingray doesn't look bad at all with the IGO, honestly.

I used to be in love with the IGO-W and wanted one badly, so I bought one from Ebay, but it turned out to be a tiny A6. The seller was ripping buyers off by posting a pic and item specs for the IGO and pulling the ole bait and switch .... so I never got the IGO W

ETA: I should also note that I received a refund, and kept the A6 .. you know how I roll

Aight had some time to take apart this Kayfun lite. I like to tinker. Take apart and back together. When I ordered my Kayfuns I webbed my FatDaddys up and saw them "Full Kayfun" rebuild kits. I highly recommended them. About to break this down and show y'all the nitty gritty. It's a little nasty

Okay. Side by side on the positive post. FatDaddys on left-China on right. Look at the difference between the machining and the air holes. FDaddys holes are smooth and circular. Right one.....pics speak for themselves. You can see the finish in comparison with SS and shiny plated coating of some sort.

I am not affiliated with FatDaddys of any matter. But hey it's under 20 bucks for an atty. Even though it's cheap we can spend a little more on some upgraded parts to try and make them better. If I misspelled sorry. On the iPhone doing this post. Hard to see everything on a small screen.

Great pictorial but the reason why it wouldn't stick to the magnets is that it should be 300 series SS and therefore it's non magnetic. Sorry I work in a machine shop and just had to throw that out there though some may have a slight magnetic reaction due to heat treating processes.

O yes... that was 7hr fight. I got it on SS Nemmy and it got stuck to death, i seriously did try to get it off with all known methods. Kayfun on it's own was great, best clone what i have, taste was awesome. If i going after other Kayfun that's the one i will get, even counting high price. Back to story. I cudn't get it off, and went to a man with strate directions destroy mod if needed ($17) but not a scratch on atty ($60/w shipping)... and before i say aaaa... hi (not my hubby) went other "all man" way and pure over base and top cup Nemmy machine oil, protecting wrap. 2 pliers and i have everything on my hand 2 perfectly unscratched pieces. Well... sense that day i did soak base in total in everything what i find (it was soak not less than 72hr total, it become a hobbit... come clean build... soak again) and can't get that oil taste off. I'm looking to replace all plastic(insulating) pieces, because i think they soak that oil and nothing what i can to.

And now, they do not match. I think this rose will not match anything, i mean flash, but i still love the color of it and with black glass section and black dp it looks very nice to me. Camera is gone again i will post as i can do pics.
