No, you Nikki, did all the work to make this hopefully great "competition" mod available for all of us. I only had an idea and knew just the right person(you) who could make it become a reality. I don't really need any more mods, but I always want more mods. This hobby is getting out of control, but it sure is fun. It least it is cheaper than the hobby of drag racing I used to have.
Not FC news, but I will be receiving a VaporShark rDNA30 mod(the new one with the 18650 battery) in the mail tomorrow that I won in a contest a few weeks ago.

I am here, been a bad vaping weekend
Locking ring got stuck on my Heimdall, and ended up scratching the paint on the locking ring trying to get it undone, I ended up sanding all the paint off the locking ring, doesn't look bad now, but still annoyed about it.
Then none of my juice is doing it for me right now, well apart from MBV's german beefcake, but none of my DIY juices are working right now.
Rather frustrating vaping weekend, and now I am torn, waiting for the black Manhattan, but this evening I found the black Akuma at a really good price, love the look of that mod, but with 4 kids to get ready for school, I can't stretch to both right now, so I have got to decide on which one to have now and which has to wait.
Been a really quite weekend on the vape sites.

But dang, your new Heimdall though I was equally as bummed when the locking ring on my Brass Paps from FT got stuck, and remains stuck to this day. In fact, today I tried once more to free it by soaking it in boiling hot water for a few minutes, pero no bueno. Still stuck Darth Vaper .. I had no idea that you had 4 little half Brits running around

Its funny that you mentioned MBV's german chocolate beefcake, someone on the other forum recommended it to me today because they saw all the MBV juice that I posted. Just started dripping Blue Drake ... I think it needs to steep, so I am moving onto Guava, a fruit that I have never tasted or vaped.

Just started dripping Blue Drake ... I think it needs to steep, so I am moving onto Guava, and fruit that I have never tasted or vaped.
That is one of the things that does annoy me about mechs, I always seem to be fighting a locking ring being stuck on one mech or another, I am looking forward to the 4nine and not have to worry about a locking ring

Stuck unlocked? Smack it with something hard and padded till it frees up? If you crank it onto that brass tube hard enough the lock threads might disengage before the cap.

The Paps seized up after a week, which is too bad because its otherwise a very nice little mech, with a bangin switch. I didn't really use the lock ring that much, but it still sucks though.

I actually wrote that down in my review notes I can tell that the quality of their liquids are good, not loving Blue Drake though, but I hope some steeping will do it good. The cinnamon roll is good, vaped two tanks of that already, and old fashioned would be better if it didn't have that hint of menthol in it. Still have Spurrberry, and Hawk sauce to try .. but sweet Baby Jesus I am loving Guava
Unsurprisingly it hasn't gotten to JFK yet...
I hate waiting. OTOH, my Vapor Tek order for their pre-sale copper Nemi got packaged tonight. So I'll be getting a Nemi towards the end of the week then another next week, hopefully.

I didn't mind spurberry, liked johnny chimpo and the caramel apple, I'm not a menthol person, so never tried any of them sort of flavors.Last night just before I went to bed, couldn't get the locking ring to unlock on my FOL either, but not looked at it today, I really need to stop actually tightening these locking rings.

Hawk Sauce is good, it is often improperly mixed (as is all MBV stuff lately). I kind of prefer Faux Hawk instead. Moo Juice when properly steeped can be a tasty vape, Freckled Lemonade is also (vaping it right now) really good.
Sounds like a better method than what I have used. Luckily I don't have the aesthetic senses that most people here have, I'm more of a form follows function kind of guy. When the locking ring on my brand new shiny brass Paps got stuck I just took a big pair of pliers to it. Problem solved. Good thing Nikki wasn't in my presence, she would have taken the pliers to me if she saw that
If you like guava that much it's a good thing you don't live in Miami. I tried MBV a while back and IIRC Solar Flare and Hawk Sauce were good, but I'm not a fruity ADV kind of guy. The other (tobacco) flavors I tried were not very good, so I moved on.

You are right .. I really want to steep them all before vaping, but I don't have that much time. I am trying all flavors for an initial impression, and letting each one steep with the cap off as I move on to the next. Then I plan to go back to the first, etc and vape again for my final thoughts.

I didn't get to pick what flavors the sent, MBV picked them, they only asked what nic level I use, but I wished I would have told them that I don't like menthol or mint vapes. Menthol is ok in very small doses, but it wears on me quickly. Your FOL seized up too?

My FOL lock ring is fine, but I am conscious of not over tighten it, especially after the Paps Not as crazy as I would be if I saw you for reals buck nekked with a fanny pack ... and sneakers
