I love that red, that's just killer but I'm afraid of aluminum. Even though I try not to be, I'm just too rough on stuff..... :( Good thing I wasn't a brain surgeon, my nick name would be oops

Well then just stop being so rough Willy! Besides, with a mod this gorgeous its more of a collectors item, than a everyday beater. So get the Red, set up her pretty, and then sit her on a shelf and just look

That is basically my plan for it :D

Burnie baby ... *purrs* you get a free pass on all the rules  #OGprivileges

Oh Cindy my dear sister Queen .. is it possible that I can commission you to make Burnie a special privileges card? Burnie is the only other person besides me that has been a part of this thread since the early days, which was almost 9 months ago

In fact, if I should ever meet with an untimely end, Burnie is the person who will be qualified to narrate the "Life and Times of Nikkita6" at least as it pertains to this thread. He has been witness to all of the popcorn and/or beer moments

    Christmas in August for me.
I received my two Manhattan clones today and I am quite pleased with them. The red one is just like Nikki said, it feels like it has a velvet finish on it. When I was a little boy my mother had some red glass balls she would put on the Christmas tree that had a finish that looked just like this mod. When I took it out of the box that is the first thought that came to my mind. I may just save this mod and use it at Christmas time. I have named it my "Santa Mod".
The copper one arrived looking just like a new penny. Both of these mods were some of the cleanest vape gear right out of the box that I have ever received.
Nikki showed you the pictures and shared with you all the details about the appearance of these mods and I agree with her assessment fully.
I will give you the mechanical details as I see them after just a little time of using the copper mod.
First, this copper mod does really hit like a freight train. I have some good mods, both authentics and clones, but this mod has the lowest voltage drop of any of them.
With a Sony VTC4 battery and a Kayfun Lite with a 1 ohm build in it I got a voltage drop of .07 volts. I am sure most, if not all off this voltage drop is coming from the internal resistance in the battery and not from the mod. I have not cleaned the threads on this mod or applied the special grease I put on my mod's threads. This test was done on the copper mod right out of the box.
I have been sitting here vaping on this copper mod with my 454 Big Block dripper with quad coils at .3 ohms for about an hour and I have gone through about 4 ml of juice.
If you get one of these mods I would recommend that you check to make sure the pin/screw in the switch that contacts the battery negative post is very tight. Both of mine arrived with them a little loose. You do not want them to unscrew as that could cause the mod to auto fire.
I can not find one thing that I do not like about this mod. I will be getting another one for sure, because with how good it works and the price I just can't do any better.
It may have been my idea for these mods, but our dear Nikki did a fantastic job of finding the right ones.
If you want one you had better order it soon, because when the word gets out about these mods at this price they may be hard to get.

    Mine is here too!

It sticks to my refrigerator lol.

Switch is not too hard to press but the feeling is like if it needs some adjustment (it makes a stop before firing actually, then I have to push it again-hope it can be fixed!)

Hey that looks like the smooth black finish, is it? I kinda of know what you mean on the switch, kinda ... I don't have to push it twice, but I have make sure that I push it all the way in to get the best hit. Because the throw is long, and the press is firm, I feel like if I press it too light, that it won't make full contact. It will fire with light contact, but its the difference between a light crackle, and a big full on crackle of the atty.

I feel like the Copper hits a little harder than the Red, but both feel comparable to the Stingray X in terms of hit, but I need to do some voltage drop tests, which I will include in my review. Also the switch feels smoother with a Cali style grip, vs pinky firing which I usually use ... I hate the Cali claw :(

I don't know what Cali grip is but I don't use the pinkie, rather the lower part of the palm of my hand. This is Art's grip! :D. Actually i don't press button but I pull mod down with my other fingers, and it is a perfect grip for this mod. (Won't work on those mods with recessed fire buttons)...

By the way mine is shiny, not smooth black finish.

All of this sounds awesome Porter, thank you so much for posting your initial thoughts and findings. :) I am still vaping the Copper, and the more I get used to using this switch, the harder this thing is hitting, and I have the chronic cough right now to prove it!

I am also understanding more what Art was saying about having to push twice .. because the magnets are strong, there is a quite a bit of resistance on the switch, so until you get used to using this switch it does kinda of feel like you gotta hit twice to get it good so to speak . I am getting used to the different switch feel though, so I know how much pressure I need to apply for one straight press of the switch.

I will also continue to update my thoughts as I go a long. :)
