I'm waiting for china or Angelcigs to sell their new 17mm kayfun Mini seperately now for my 14500 neme lol.

You mean the one that was custom made to go with the iVOGO 14500 mod? I am sure if enough folks request it they will start to sell the 17mm kayfun Mini separately ... they are sending me one for review btw. :p

 Weezy you so crazy! You were rocking it Corpse style :p ... Speaking of Corpse, is that man still reading? He did say he would be back in a week, or four

I don't know what Cali grip is but I don't use the pinkie, rather the lower part of the palm of my hand. This is Art's grip! :D. Actually i don't press button but I pull mod down with my other fingers, and it is a perfect grip for this mod. (Won't work on those mods with recessed fire buttons)...

By the way mine is shiny, not smooth black finish.

I thought the finish on the Black was going to be the same as the Red, that is why I am confused  I know the warehouse guy took crappy pics of the Black, but it still looked like the Red to me .. this finish is nice looking too, the same as the finish on that Blue one Cindy posted yesterday, just wasn't expecting that. If you like it then I love it!

The Cali style or Cali claw as I call it, is when you hold the mod between the thumb, and index finger, and use your middle finger, or all four fingers to press the switch ... I hate that style of firing. I am a pinky or ring finger firer. I use my pinky on 650's, and my ring finger knuckle on 350/500's.

And now we have the Art style grip too :p

Sorry for that picture, I need to improve in the vapeporn department, Nikki.
The finish is not smooth or satin, is just very shiny, and yes, I like it!

Also i was able to adjust the switch a little bit and now that 2 - stops thing just...stopped. Pretty good now!

Don't worry Art, if you can learn, then I can teach you :D  Lesson #1 - good lightening is essential, and if you don't have a well lit room, or a light box, then outdoor lighting is best. As soon as the Spring weather arrives, I always shoot outdoors .. there are certain rooms in my house that absolutely suck for shooting vapeporn, no matter how many lamps I fill the room with.

Glad to hear that you are good to go on the switch too. :) I can't wait until Nailz gets his so we can confirm that all the black are like yours ... I am wondering if Acerig mixed the black one's that they sent FC?

I don't know Nikki but I can tell mine is aluminum. Aluminum feels cheaper but on the bright side, my mod weights only 3 OZ (86 grams) without battery or topper, so that is good.

But really, picture is not of a shiny mod.

Mine is, nailz, sorry about that. But maybe you get lucky and yours is different.

Yea I doubt it, but to be honest, I would of still ordered it anyway, as is black and everyone is raving how good they are, it took all my willpower not to order it as soon as it hit the site, but admit the finish of Nikki's Manhattan broke it :)

Yep. The finish in the ad is the same she got. Unfortunately I did not get same finish, even when their pic shows it is not shiny. But I am not really concerned because that, even when mine looks more prone to scratches.

All of this sounds awesome Porter, thank you so much for posting your initial thoughts and findings. :) I am still vaping the Copper, and the more I get used to using this switch, the harder this thing is hitting, and I have the chronic cough right now to prove it!

I am also understanding more what Art was saying about having to push twice .. because the magnets are strong, there is a quite a bit of resistance on the switch, so until you get used to using this switch it does kinda of feel like you gotta hit twice to get it good so to speak . I am getting used to the different switch feel though, so I know how much pressure I need to apply for one straight press of the switch.

I will also continue to update my thoughts as I go a long. :)

I disassembled the switch on my copper Manhattan and used some really fine wet/dry sand paper with water to polished the inside of the switch housing where the button slides and polished the sides of the button. I made sure to radius the leading edge of the button ever so slightly. Copper is very soft so be gentle and don't rub hard if you do this. I then applied "GEL-GLOSS" to these surfaces. GEL-GLOSS is a wax/polish that is made for Fiberglass bathroom shower enclosurers and I get it at Lowes. I use this to keep the outsides of all my brass, stainless steel and copper mods looking like new and easy to keep clean. I just spray a small amount on a soft rag and rub the mod until clean.. After it drys I remove the haze and polish with another soft rag.

One other thing I have found is that the "ears" on the snap ring that holds the top magnet will rub the side of the pin that contacts the battery negative end cap slightly sometimes when the button is pressed. I am going to remove the snap ring and file just a few thousands of an inch off of it at the "ears". The "ears" are the part of the snap ring that has the hole for installing/removing.

One other thing to note is that the black delrin insulator in the top cap is threaded. Make sure it is not screwed up too high as it will stop your 510 threads on your atomizer from screwing all the way in.

But you did get the right one, in the right Acerig box, with unpainted threads, right Art? Odd - as bad as the pictures are on the product page, I see no hint of gloss in them. But then, I've never seen pics of the black in matte either, so... Also odd is that you guys have been buying them and the stock quantity hasn't budged. :?:
