I agree .. I told Doris the same thing when she said it cost them almost as much as the DNA30. I think the manufacturer is just trying to take advantage of the market with their pricing. It is just a mechanical mod at the end of the day, with no chips or VVVW, so I don't think it should be priced where it is. If people refuse to buy then they will have no choice but to drop the price.

I think its sexy as hell, but it should not be priced in line with a DNA30 clone .. At the end of the day actual sales will determine its worth. If people continue to overpay for the things they want, then manufacturers, suppliers, and vendors will continue to overcharge for it. I personally feel that this clone should not retail for more than $45 ...

I have to partially retract the above statement .. The Wotofo is the branded trading company that is actually part the manufacturing company Amod Technology Co,LTD who makes at least one of the ZNA30 clones, so there are essentially one and the same. They manufacturer under one name, and trade under the other.

Not good, something just happened to my coil. Got real Hot. Popped the battery out quick. Checked the Kayfun on my SVD and it shows 0.0Ω. Guess I need to take it apart and see what happened.

Smart move really, if one fails you don't lose everything and have way to come back. Like my old boss used to say, Don't ever put all your eggs on one basket. Every week he would make his weekly deposit, take out some walking money and put a $100 bill in a coffee can he kept in the rafter's of his basement. He did that for at least twenty years that I knew him.

Just a guess but did you check your 510 connection on the Kayfun?
Perhaps the pin pushed in and your mod is contacting the Kayfuns 510 threads and caused the short.

I had that happen a while back the block that the center pin goes through twisted and touched the other block just enough to short. Try and turn it so you can see a gap between the two

I think the vaping gods are trying to tell me something. First the mix up with the group buy that delayed my order. Then the flip tube and 510 connector issues. Now this...

I went to order a black magma so that FC could send the replacement parts for the Beast Flip. The whole way through right up to and including PayPal's web site it says black magma $15.82. On paypal it just says $15.82. Right after I okay the payment it goes back to the FC conformation screen. But now it says Taifun GT at $28. What the %&@# !!!!!!

My paypal email isn't the same as the one on FC so no info shows up there. So now I'm waiting for them to send me the email with the order number so I can see what's up. Then I have a to send it to Eleven & Doris so they can send my Flip parts.

Like my grandfather used to say "if it wasn't for bad luck I'd have no luck at all"

No Idea. Took it apart, looked & cleaned, put it back together and it read 0.9Ω with no coil. Did it again, and once back together it read 1.6Ω with no coil. Took back apart trying to figure it out, put back together and it reads NON, which is what it should with no coil. I have no idea what is going own. Been up since 4am, so I'll look at it again tomorrow. Thanks

The word is that you're just supposed to refresh the confirmation page and then you'll get correct info. Guess that's the default value or something, you'll find a few posts where someone ordered and ends up with the Taifun confirmation page.

On a Kayfun that is usually a sign that your center block/positive post shifted out of place, being that it is secured by the 510 pin. This happened to me once with my Kayfun 3.1, shot a hot spot straight through my mech tube. Luckily my battery survived, I tightened up my center block and rebuilt the coil. Did you check your center block/positive post?
