I've been looking at what's offered, its just a week to my first paycheck in almost 4 years so I'll finally be able to get that Taifun and mod. But I've also been looking at other choices, figuring I'm going to treat myself. I actually really like the white Lancelot mod but haven't found too many reviews of it. Then there's the GUS, I think, its the one that has the cross hatched finish. Or something classy looking like the Tree of Life. Or the red satin finish Manhattan. And maybe an rda, those colored aluminum Tugboats are nice and cheap. Or a fancy new fangled atomizer like the rose.

I need help. I need someone to pick for me before my brain explodes from all the choices.

Just ordered that as well from them. The reviews are great and it appears we will get an infinite/sxk kayfun. Mine was shipped the following day which is nice. I would have ordered the black stingray x from them but they didn't have it. The selection seems on the lighter side IMO. Stingray x, origen, veritas are extremely popular and don't exist yet at focalecig. I do see they have the ss x mech, but not when I got it. I was also hoping everything shipped from GA, but that is not the case. Still impressed I got my tracking the following day and I will order again. I had a coupon from vaping cheap which was also nice

Did a quick simple build, 24awg, dual 5 wraps on a 3mm screwdriver, came out at 0.33 ohm. Stuffed some rayon in there, poured some of my home made Custard at 70%vg, and maaaaaannnnn.... The cloudz and the flavorz! [emoji108]

But the o-rings don't fit tight enough, so it feels a bit wobbly... That's the only negative I can see right away.
Easy to build, no trouble at all.

Here it is on FC's panzer.

Mine fits great and the o-rings fit snug. I bought the copper version and put it on my copper panzer. A great combo IMO.

$14.34 SAT 22 Style Rebuildable Dripping Atomizer -

You didn't get that for the mini nemmy did you? Its going to be huge on the 17mm mod! lol
You just have to use enough duct tape on the Nemi to even things out ;)

In all seriousness though, how exactly does it have 3 posts? All I see is the ginormous center post and 1 screw in between a pair of airholes. How are you supposed to get dual coils in it? And what's with the seemingly empty base? I've got to be missing something about how it gets built. At least with the rose although it was unusual I could figure it out but the SAT 22 completely baffles me.

Had a little time to work on my Kato Square Box mod today :D

Finally finished fixing the Switch

The Delrin originally was 4.12mm, I took it down to 4.0mm , so about 0.12mm or .005" (inches) removed to get it to function properly.

Here is a shot of the results on the switch, got a good projection of the pin past the Delrin now ;)

Switch works like a charm now, fires everytime :D

---------------

Also spent some time working of the mill marks and half moon dent shape on the top SS part.
I smoothed it out quite a bit and I'm happy with the results now.
I went for a brushed style finish on both SS parts to match the aluminum mid section, might polish them up later but like it the way it is for now :)

Only thing left to make it perfect aesthetically is to fix the small lip projection of the bottom SS part to the Aluminum mid section on the left side. Last thing is to make the missing Delrin spacer, so by the end of tomorrow my new Kato mod should be finally sorted :D

---------------

Now that Ive had some vape time with it I got to admit it works really well (now) and I just love the compact side by side form factor. It took a little bit to get use to its vape style because the fire button is quite close to your lips when you use it but once I figured out how to hold it correctly its almost natural now. Im starting to really dig this mod now so I dont regret getting it as much as yesterday :)

Cindy, how are you wicking your gennys? I kinda cant get them to act right. I used mesh in the AGI when I got it and then did cotton and rayon, just cant get a good combo. Any help would be appreciated
First, I make my coil the same diameter as the wick hole. I do that with everything - I match juice channels and wick holes. I wick everything with rayon. I have my tail touching the floor, but I thin it down so that it's wispy (haha that's how I cut my bangs). Make sure it isn't choking at the wick hole too - just a tad looser than it is at the wick.

Still playing with it, but I'm having better luck with my Pulse than I am with my KFL. KFL's OK too, but I think my expectations were too high. If I had been coming from stock Evods and Protanks, I would've said WOW, but coming from the ones I souped up, it's kinda meh. But I think I just like top-coil devices better. Not sure yet, though. Only been at this for less than a week.

Sorry, Nikki.

It's not 3, it's 2 (typo) - or 1 + a neg screw at the base. I tried to point that out yesterday, but nobody else seemed to be interested in the Sat 22. I think this one's strictly a Cali/Euro thing.
It's a genny - that empty base is the tank, which deceivingly holds 2.5ml. The reduced chamber, where the coil is, is that narrower top part.

If the other ones have issues too, you know everybody's gonna be sending theirs to your house, right?
Glad you got it fixed - looks even better than what it's supposed to.

Man that Kato looks great, what did you use to get the brushed look? I have a Provari ring that I need to grind down and would need to do something to the finish afterwards to make it look better.

Thanks :) I used 2 metal working files, 3 different grades of sanding stones and a Scotch-brite pad to work that finish to its current state. If you don't grind your ring too heavily just the scotch-brite pad should do a nice finish on your provari ring ;)
