I received my Kato box today, and while I didn't have the lumps and bumps in polished top panel, that cylinder shaped delrin piece inside the bottom panel is too thick and its keeping the base for securing on flat and me no likey that. So I am going to sand that down when I get some time. My switch is also wobbly, but I am sure that I can fix that as well by shortening the throw. I haven't put any atties on it or tried to fire it, been busy with the other Wotofo that came with it.
Hopefully Sunday I can get to it, because I can see how sexy it is, just needs some fine tuning. But my honest opinion is that its overpriced, which is not FC's fault. I know how much this thing costs wholesale and FC should actually be charging more for it based on wholesale pricing. I love the very deep engravings, that makes the whole box for me.

I'm glad you finally got your Kato in too, but sorry to hear that you also seem to have some different issues
Hopefully you will be able to screw in attys onto yours, all mine bottomed out without touching the 510 threads in the topcap.

Ya, I could see a gap in the main body and base so I took it apart and the round, white delrin piece is keeping it from fitting flat when its all put back together. But oh, I can see its potential!

I received both of my items from the USA Warehouse today -- 2 days from ordering! With free shipping now less. Very impressive.
Less so that there was no printed invoice inside the envelope, but I saved a copy on my computer.
I purchased the Plume Veil clone from unknown manufacturer which came in a simple rectangular, albeit colorful, generic paper box marked "atomizer." The delrin dome was stuck inside the top cap, and from the looks of it was inserted before the drilling of the 2 top cap holes. Both holes were blocked with delrin particles and I had to poke inside with some kanthal to clean it out. Aside from the delrin piece, the rest of the PV was looking good. After what seemed like hours to wrench the pieces free and clean it and clear to air channels, the atomizer does perform well. Only other issue is the 510 connection is too large from my ohm reader.
The other item I purchased with the Stingray X. I recently received the $19.99 101Vape SS Stingray and was enjoying it, but the SXK Stingray X blows it away. Not a rough edge on it, has a nice heft to it, and it is the hardest hitting mech I own currently. Only issue was that the delrin insulator in the firing switch it loose and popped free while I was testing the switch during inspection. The firing contact wasn't screwed in tight either. Both are non-issues, since it doesn't impact performance and since I know about the delrin, I'll keep an eye on it.
Overall, I'm very pleased with the transaction and the lightning quick ship from the USA Warehouse.

How does the group buy work? I purchased the dna30 clone today. Do they ship when you purchase or do they wait until the group buy is over and then ship?
They wait till the group buy is over and then ship. That helps them lower the price.
I Got mine yesterday. Very nice. Better than my FT one. It is slightly smaller, has a brighter display and the 510 connector isn't wobbly. No hole for the charge led but it does show a charging animation which stops when fully charged (and the hidden red led goes out). I don't really miss the charge led hole since I'm color blind to red and green.

I believe, at least for the last HANAA group buy, FC started shipping once the order total exceeded 100 units. Mine shipped before the group buy ended.
edit: weird, the current group buy doesn't say anything about shipping after a certain number of units have been ordered.
It is odd. I ordered this past week before the buy ended, not knowing they would turn right around and do it again, and the discussion made me go to see when the ship date was and I didn't get the usual pop up about the current buy. That's where they mention things like shipping after xx ordered and the like. So looks like they are doing things a bit different.

If I order a second HANAA it'll have to be another black one. My wife only knows my mods by shape and color. The long round silver one, the black square one, etc. If a red one or blue one suddenly appears there may be questions asked. All box mods must be black.
My gun collection is much the same way, lol.
Went back looking for a shipping date from the last group buy, didn't find it. But I did find that they just stocked the skeleton key mod. Its even 23mm, just right for a Taifun. Not sure why but its one of the currently hot mods.

Actually Im using the top cap from my Hammer mod on the Kato Box mod. FC is sending me a replacement for the stripped Kato top cap, so I should be getting it soon.
Here are a couple pics of just the Huron adapter with GP top cap so you can pick it out in the previous porn pics I posted.
I like this as a extension because the Huron hybrid adapter has the 510 threads that screw into the Kato's topcap on one end and a 20x1 thread on the other end.
I just screwed in the GP topcap to use other attys instead of the actual huron. It raised the drippers up just enough so that the top of the dripper is level with the top of the Kato.
If I didnt use this type of extension setup I would need to use longer drip tips to make up the difference in height between the drippers and the top of the Kato mod.
