Thanks for the input. This may be true for the version 5, but I've had a V2 for over a year now with absolutely no problems and is still going strong. Maybe the improvement on the version wasn't really an improvement??
You're right, we both have V5's. Mine is brass, don't know what he has.

You know it all depends on who made the Vamo, as there are several manufacturers of all versions. I also have a Vamo V2 that is a year old and very much alive and well. I think the best made Vamo's come from KSD who is the original creator and manufacturer of the device. Due to my Hana mini referral I think that FC is going to start doing business direct with KSD.

Ohhhhhhhh... is THaT where my Vamo2 came from. I call it the TRUCK, because it's built so heavy and durable. ;) I just emailed her. Thanks again! I'll be in touch. This looks like a very nice Thread! :toast:

Aha .. oK. FC will definitely not be restocking the logo version of the Heron, and are looking for no logo version. It sucks because aesthetically the device is less interesting without the logo. :( Glad I got the last logo'd one!

I don't want logos on the attys if I can get away without them then I can personalize!

Orchid turned up today, didn't bother taking any pics, as everyone knows what they look like, and at the moment mine is just standard, no nano kit or special top cap on it, of course did dual coils with 28 gauge coming out @ 0.55 (my normal for duals) was a bit strange wicking it, as use to pushing the wick down the chimney, but just laid a little wick in the channels and seemed to work good.

It probably wasn't the brightest idea, but used some new juice I got a few days ago, I've had it before, but steeped it for a month last time, this time it tasted like what I imagine my dirty socks taste like, but I admit I was rushing to try it out, so didn't do my normal soak in denture cleaner, so not sure if it was the juice or machine oil I was tasting, so I have broke it down again and is now soaking and going to give it another go tomorrow.

I did have about 10 vapes on it, even though tasted yuk, and was impressed with how it vapes, it was airer enough for me on mouth to lung and straight lung hits. Yes Nikki, you read right, I've been practicing and doing lung hits now ;) No idea how people always vape like that way, but sure blow some clouds though, but do lose flavor too though, which was actually a good thing with how this tasted

I did fill from the bottom by just having the base off enough to get a syringe in it and that worked good for me, only a very small amount of leaking to start from the air holes and soon stopped afterwards.

Awesome Nialz, mine is "out for delivery" I'll do the soak first but use the 15 minute cleaner then scrub with a toothbrush and Dawn so maybe by tonight I'll have a clue!

Don't know what gauge wire you will be using, but with 28 gauge, do not tighten down the posts to much, 1st coil I cut the wire by tighten it to much

Vape mail for me today too :D

Sorry but I decided to get my Sat22 from a different place. I was looking for the Infinite version and found one.
This one cost a bit more than the one on FC or FT but has the SS tank included with this version.

    Machining is spot on!!
    Perfect in every way :) :) :)
The finish is Glossy Brushed, matches my 4Nine perfectly ;)

Finally something that I dont have to "fix" LOL

Here is a shot of it with the SS tank. :

Here is a shot with the Clear tank, this would be what it would look like if you get FC or FT's version:

Here is a shot of it next to a Bic lighter for size comparison :D

Plan on running this on my upcoming SS Zen, but will fit nicely on the 4Nine until it comes in :D

Okay, my mind on caffeine! The Orchid came and I took it apart and prepared the denture bath and was looking at the chimney, no idea why, and it hit me. We all enjoy the dripper's with the domed inner top cap so why can't they make the chimney's for the tanks domed? It seems to me that would be awesome!

BEAUTIFUL! I really needed some porn to inspire me for the Orchid build. Orchid is ugly compared to this! Forgive my ignorance but is that a Jenny set up?

Yes, a reduced chamber Genny in fact ;) This one is designed for flavor and has dual 0.8mm airholes so the draw is a little tighter but perfect for flavor production.

Gonna try 2 different style wick, a SS mesh build first and after that gonna try it with a rayon build to compare the differences. I'm a bit rusty on my Genny builds (it's been awhile) so we will see how it goes :)

 Denture cleaner? I have heard of this, but I dunno, never soaked a single device for hours or overnight ... I cover it in dish detergent, add hot water in a bowl, and use a tooth brush on each piece and rinse. Done in 5-10 minutes :p

I will have to give you written instructions for doing a proper lung hit without losing flavor .. the only RBA that I can do a mouth to lung hit on is something with a tight draw. Seems unnatural to do mouth to lung with devices that have open air flow.
