I've been reading that thread for the last few weeks, so many bad clones out there of this squape reloaded, glad I got the one from FC, had no problems with it, fingers crossed for you on the FT one.
Doris asked me if I could VIDEO the ZNA not firingSorry, not happening but I did send her pictures of the misplaced pin, hope that works.
Nikki, any chance you could talk Doris into getting some replacement tanks for the Rose? Even though I'm not gangsta anymore because I'm a granny?
It is not up to Doris to decide if a picture is good enough. Photos and/or videos are a manufacturer requirement for RMA replacements, that is why they are requested. I am sure she will try with the photo if it can clearly demonstrate the issue, but like I said that is not FC's call, it is the manufacturer.
For the Rose, do you mean the PC tank or the steel tanks? I can ask her

...so how is FT getting away with carrying Squapes? They just released 2 more with logos and glass tanks.
Because obviously Stattqualm failed to report them also to Paypal, which is strange to me because I would think that any modder looking to stop a clone would think to look at FT first.

I missed the Squape R on FC and don't really want to order from FT given the shipping ETA. Anybody know anything about the one that comes in the authentic looking box? I think it's made by Kingtu? Never heard of them but they are up on ebay. The seller i'm talking to says these are V2, come with a spare glass tank, and are real ematal coating unlike some other clones.
Err, don't you think its a little too early for that one? Although China has knocked out some clones within one or two months of the authentics release. I am sure we will eventually see a Cloupor knock off of that chip. In other news, keep a look out on VC tomorrow, I wrote a product watch article on a new release that is not for sale yet ... How does it not make sense? You video exactly what you described .. install the a battery on camera and show that nothing happens when you do that, which clearly demonstrates the issue because something is supposed to "happen" when you put a battery in the tube.

For one, they do not advertise it as a clone, which clearly it is based on price, and that is just wrong. Newbs everywhere will buy this thinking its the real deal. While I have no problems with clones, I do take issue with misrepresenting a product. Secondly, I don't believe that it is at all possible that China received this Chip for cloning because it was literally just released

I totally agree that skepticism is in order. However, now that Evolv is in partnership with Innokin, i wouldn't be surprised if a DNA40 made its way into the hands of a cloner.
Evolv needs to help Innokin fix that DRV which was such a flop, yet is was a really great idea. I could not believe that Innokin put out such an inaccurate voltage device, shocking really.

This is not the 1st time this has come up with this vendor, I wouldn't go near them.
