I know I'm ashamed. I need a triple POW POW!!!! They refunded me for Taifun and Mutation X. Gave me a coupon for the Magma but I get to keep both :( if I can find a good 510 pin it might be able to work with some modification. But at least it's spare parts.

And you are gonna get a Triple Pow Pow too mister :rules: Where is Cindy with that pow pow emoji? I need it!

That vendor is a disgrace to this community, and does not deserve to be a part of it. Angel (xiao) is up to her old antics again with her multiple fake accounts that she uses to post on ECF, masquerading as a customer .. You cannot trust a vendor who chooses to operate this way, in spite of having multiple threads closed, and previous user accounts banned. But that dumb dumb just doesn't seem to get it :glare:

My Squape has a bad problem. One of the post screws unscrews itself when I screw the base to the tank. I have to keep undoing it, and fixing it. Its not safe.

I wonder if they could send me just a new build deck? Between that screw and the lose post I'm pretty frustrated. The rest of the parts have a very nice finish though.

Nope, that is not good at all ... my posts were kind of janky too, part of the reason that I had a hard time with the first build. It seems ok now after taking it apart twice and using pliers to tighten the posts down. But I will keep you all updated, which reminds me that I supposed to check my tank to see if the orings were installed .. *sigh*

Its been the most aggravating atty I've bought so far. Between having to get those o rings into the channels, sanding ematal off the screws, the loose post and this post screw constantly unscrewing itself, I'm beyond frustrated. So yes, if I could just get a new build deck with no loose parts, I would be happy with that. I don't want to send the whole thing back after spending forever on those o rings. I will if I have to though. At one point last night my rayon wick flamed up because of that screw undoing itself! There is no way I would take this thing out of the house with me. Any little bump and that post screw will loosen.

Agreed! I have never, in my time as a rebuilder, ever spent this much time and effort on rebuilding an atty ... never.

That being said, I am not all that surprised ... I said before and I will say it again, iVOGO is not that great of a manufacturer, period. I was actually disappointed when Doris told me that these Squape's came from iVOGO, and I had strongly discouraged her from getting the Rose V2 clone made by iVOGO for this very reason.

Can iVOGO make a good product? yes .. but can they do so consistently? In my opinion, not that I have seen. I feel like they like to cut corners whenever possible, and that is why I am not a fan.

So email FC and try to get yourself a replacement base for this device because what you have going on sounds dangerous.

Update on Squape R ... just pulled the plastic tank and would do you know, the white orings were not installed  I am sorry but it is totally UNACCEPTABLE for a manufacturer to leave it to the consumer to install any aspect of a device that is essential for proper function. :glare:

As I look inside the tank and see the faint grooves for the o rings, I can already tell that I am not looking forward to this. :(

Yet another update on the Squape R ...

So, the white o rings that came the spare parts package are TOO BIG  First off, I thought those were spares, not the o rings that should have already been installed in the tank. These o rings are too large and it was impossible to get them to fully fit into the groove, on both the top and middle section of the tank ... I had a light bulb moment and realized that my Rose V2 also has spare white o rings which I thought might fit better, and lo and behold they do, kinda ...

I had no problem installing the oring from the Rose V2 package into the top of the tank, but the groove at the middle of the tank is so shallow that I cannot get the o ring to lay into it. So I installed the PMMA tank with just the o ring at the top in place, and then I pushed the 2nd o ring up to the bottom of the PMMA tank, and it stayed without moving.

I have refilled the Squape with the last of my Beefcake (only because there is nothing else that I feel like vaping at the moment), and so far there is no leaking from the tank, nor is there any juice collecting around the windows like it did the last time as well.

It is too damn bad that iVOGO let something like o rings and thread tolerances on the posts, be the thing that brings this atty down. The main body is beautifully machined, and the AFC ring is one of the best that I have used (love the click stop). But if the o rings are not installed, and they send two lousy, extra large o orings, and the thread tolerances on the posts are too loose, then it brings down the entire overall quality.

In terms of flavor I do not feel that the Squape even comes close to the Rose, and I also do not feel that the flavor is as good as the V1 that I have .. I would put the flavor production on par with a Kayfun, so its not bad at all, its just not stellar. At least not in my opinion. I would love to see how Amod's Squape will stack up on this offering from iVOGO .. if they ever release the damn thing  FC told me that ordered it like a month ago ..

Nikki, can you find out if they're getting the Nahualon anytime soon?

I can sure ask .. but don't forget that FC is a not vendor who knows product by name and that is current with the market. They only know what suppliers offer to them, and what customers request for them to carry... and what I tell them they should carry  So I can promise they are not out hunting for the Nahualon  But, I will mention it Doris, and if one of their suppliers turn up offering "best price" for it, then I am sure they will stock it. I will mention to her that you asked for it though :)

It sucks people are having problems with the squape and weird that mine has been so trouble free, I have the extra o-rings in a bag, but pretty sure the tank already has them on too, as had no leaking at all, maybe I got the 1st one they did, and after the hassle of installing them o-rings, they said sod it, let the customers do it

I was sure they were too big as well, but they actually aren't. Once you get them in, they are actually perfect. Getting them in though is another story

I have a theory on my post screw issue. I will update once I know for certain, but I suspect the chimney is unscrewing it. Its all tight as hell, but unscrews when I put the base on the tank. They are screws with large heads and are very close to the edge of the deck.

As soon as I get the chance I will try to find screws that fit with smaller heads and see if that solves it. If not, I will see if I can get a different deck.

Nikki, do you think you can find out what size those deck screws are?

Just finished my first forced patina attempt. Figured I would try it because one of my sons fried the top cap on his Akuma mod so had nothing to lose. It is sporting the Heron colne from FT in hybrid mode.

That came out pretty good Tami, I like the blues in it :) Are you gonna clear coat it to preserve that finish?
