lol... said I needed to quit stalking the new arrivals, not that I would. :)

Round 2 of the DNA40 co-op is being discussed currently. Probably won't get off the ground until after the holidays though. I received my $5 returned/defective Hana clone from elev8vape today and am now chomping at the bit to start the conversion. I may just grab a board at retail price and go for it. Have you seen the new detachable "big screen" DNA40 display? It's pretty pimp. I'll still need the small screen though.

OMG I love the big one :D as usual!

I got 3 of them yesterday. Red worked fine. it has phantom wake ups and drops .1w every once in a while. Black had a dead screen but worked. I removed some glue and the screen came back to life. I don't know what other issues it might have but it's working fine for now. Blue had a constant "check atomizer" and I couldn't fix it so I just gutted it and added a VT 510. I drilled a 2mm hole for the charging light on all 3. Not bad for under $20 shipped.

I was also thinking about just buying a dna 40 retail just to get the blue one going.

I've been thinking if I do get a zero I would more than likely pop a dna40 in it maybe.. so many box mod's out. how many do I actually need ;) I sure do like the look of the zero though but, I want a carbon fibre sleave for it :)

Mine is getting a DNA40 asap. I have one to put in.

I haven't even had a chance to unbox the one I received. I'm actually hoping it doesn't work at all... as in the previous owner fried the board with reverse polarity. Otherwise I may get lazy and just use it as is.

Yooo check out this thingy I just received. Its this tiny ultrasonic cleaner for atomizers  I have never owned or used an ultrasonic cleaner, but I have heard of vapers buying them for DIY juice to steep or cleaning atties. It looks like a mini coffee maker to me

question is, who makes the damn thing.... could be a Yosen I guess. infinite maybe but, that's the same comp I think? I want one but I have read sooo many issues about the chip :(

Yosen and Infinite are sister brands, and they are selling the same device from the same factory. Which is ..... SXK :)

Clearly these are factory leftovers, same box, no branding, V1 chip specs.

At first I had no interest in the carbon fiber, but it kinda of grew on me. For some reason I really like black on the Zero, and that is usually my least favorite color.

Got my Origen Genesis today. No pics yet, sorry, but I'm gonna work on that this weekend, cuz there are some pretty clever things going on with this atty.

First impression though was not great.
• When I first took it apart, I was like "what's up with this thing? Is it plastic?" The stem and thin deck that screws onto the base, the AFC and the top cap are SS, but the rest of it is the same material as the SqR chimney (anodized aluminum? PTSD kicked in a little bit  ), so the bottom "line" of the atty is a matte gray that doesn't match the top part. Meh.
• Plus I can't remove the plastic tank insert - if it's threaded, it's on really tight - hopefully it's not glued on. It would've been nicer if it unscrewed, and if they included the SS insert. It's gonna be a pain to wick this thing, cuz I usually like to play with my genny tails.
• The little "nuggets" that cover up unneeded holes are supposed to be anodized as well, but they look pretty raw to me. I guess we'll find out one way or the other if I ever get a short on this thing - spacing's pretty close and it's only attached by one screw, so it can move.
• The brass center pin is missing the post hole for the positive legs, so I'll have to rethink the build - maybe do it like that Asian dude on the video, but put the loop on top and use both negative screws for the tails - so yeah, just like the Veritas. The stem is really cool though. There's this second set of rings attached that line up with the 3.5mm holes (meant for mesh, but I'll be using those for rayon) that will stabilize your mandrel as you're installing your coils - no wobbling as you tug on the legs.

So yeah, not quite 1:1. I looked this up on Ali, and I don't know if they're manufacturers, but this appears to be the Kingberry version. The fins are really cool though, and I can't believe how small this thing is. Cute. Looks good with the black SMPL, with the crunchy crunchy switch (it actually makes that crunch sound  ), that I also received. But I think it'll look better with the gray Ra V3 that I'm now planning to buy for it, just so the matte gray line on the bottom will make sense. Plus you know, Eye of Horus, Egyptian heiroglyphs, pyramids,...

FYI, the hex size for the post screws is 1.5mm. They give you an Allen key, but you know how that goes. It's a pretzel after awhile.

Oh, and Doris is wonderful. I dunno if the girl is psychic, or of Nikki tells her stuff, or if she reads this thread and takes notes, but she sent me a bunch of freebie parts that I desperately needed - like a magnet for my battery nipple (yay, I can use my Vapelyfe mod now), some RBA screws with small heads, and a handful of extra o-rings. Oh, and a couple of blue screwdrivers! :thumb:

Plastic and anodized aluminum? I didn't receive mine yet, and I don't really understand which parts you describing, but I will see for myself soon enough .. And Doris must me psychic because I don't know anything about any parts that you needed, or that she sent you. Glad you got some stuff that you needed.

ETA: and no, the logos on that RDA are not cute in any shape or form Cindy

Received my n22. The air holes up through the deck looked like it was drilled by a drunk guy lol.

Put a single coil Mundy magic wire at .6. Vape is dense, warm, and wet. Very enjoyable.

That drunk guy probably knows how to vape lol

Yeahsmo seems to be the better version. The bottom looks like it matches (although I'm beginning to think that the OG has the matte gray aluminum anodizing that doesn't match), it has the post hole on the center pin, and they do include the SS insert. ;) I haven't built this yet, but if I like it, I might go looking for that version too.
...and cat skulls and fish bones are the bomb, baby!

Thank you, Doris! :)
