... Doris (sales manager) is a one woman operation over there, and she works really hard to stay on top of things. My order is still in transit, but I have emailed her several times w/questions and such, and she is always lovely to deal with, and wants very much to please. Checked my tracking# and my shipment is moving along ... it appears to have departed China on 1/4/14, so its looking good so far. I also have a 2nd shipment behind that one that is in acceptance.

Bargain shopping is very dangerous, and FT has figured out the formula, just make everything appear really inexpensive and people will spend way more. $17.00 doesn't seem like a lot ... until you times it by 20 items

Ordered a Steamship, Kraken, and a Maraxus on the 28th of Dec, they just arrived today. Now I just gotta decide if I'm making dinner for the kids, or playing with the SS mesh for these things.
These new Sony VTC4's are gonna get quite a workout, now....

I bought the Focale Kraken, a DCT with fillports and AFC called an X8 and something else as well but looked good with the bonus code taking off 20% each hit ^^

You ARE SO LUCKY!! I heard that shipping to LA from China could be really fast. Doris was telling me that she had a customer in CA who received his shipment in 5 days!! So clearly she was telling the truth... now I just need to move to Cali Please tell me how your Kraken from Focalecig was? I ordered a Kraken too, and Nikki wants it bad!!
That Maraxus is one strange looking mod, but I just watched a review for it yesterday, and the reviewer said that the build quality is awesome, and that the claw mouth thingy part actually helped with handling the Mod
... men, I tell ya It looks like some sort of medieval adult toy ** REMINDER ** The Chinese New Year is approaching, and China will be shut down accordingly. Focalecig has confirmed that they will be observing the holiday from February 1 -7th. So if you are planning on ordering from China, please keep this in mind.

Do US customers have special arrangements with the Chinese?
Ordered a KFL from FC shipped 5 hours later (same day!) 21st Dec all i have is departed from origin, in fact all my 5 orders were shipped with tracking days before yours. And US vapers complain
I sent an order today for a US customer at 2pm GMT for delivery before 10:30am In LA tomorrow.There is no such thing as luck

There probably is a special arrangement for US traffic as the bulk of it is directed there at the moment with the US being the biggest importer of Chinese goods so carriage is going to be well geared up, more so than Europe or elsewhere.
Britain of course used to be China's doorway to Europe but since ceding Hong Kong in 1997, its gone a bit all over the place, I remember the Chinese ships queuing up at Tilbury or Royal docks , the former is now a cross transit between London and Rotterdam, the latter is an airport and posh houses for stuck up people lol hey ho in the days of empire hehehe
I would say if anyone is looking for a growing market, shipping and parcel movement is something that is growing like a monster, its not so much the carrying but companies are willing to pay through the nose for guaranteed at reasonable length of time to do so and the sheer logistics of it all is horrendous hence why when a carrier goes down like HKP did in Oct it managed to disrupt parcel movement for nigh on three continents with the ensuing chaos

Not all of us do ... My order was placed before his as well and mine is also still in transit with the same tracking status as you have, so you are not alone my friend. I am not worried though, I have another shipment from China that showed no tracking since 12/29 and today of all a sudden its in New York (but not yet delivered)? My package clearly was not updated every step of the way throughout its transit ... I wanna hear about that KFL when you do get it though.

I can't really say much to your reply but thank you for your knowledge and agree! I wasn't a vaper in the good old days
I only quit smoking in Oct so all the talk about HKP and orders being received in 7 days becomes somewhat tiresome but maybe it was a bad time to take up vaping atleast it teaches me patience! I am intrigued by the logistics especially given the volume now being moved from China, but as you said the ripple effect that HKP has had globally is all too well known. I am still a little in the dark as to what exactly happened coming to the party late, where safety regulations imposed? (x-ray), were previously allowed items banned? (eJuice and Batteries)
I would really like to know with other postal carriers for example Swedish Post, Swiss Post & Malaysia Post why delivery times are so slow, is it just the fact that all of HKP freights volume was so large and the frantic struggle to use any carrier that will take it but in truth doesn't have the capacity to move such large volumes.
I did have an amusing chat with a postmaster here, as you will probably know when you post something now that is for overseas they always ask you what's in the parcel or at times hand you a card or point to the prohibited items list. Sending knives as an example is not allowed the postmaster always laughs and says 'you wouldn't tell me anyhow!'
Global postal movement has always been somewhat of a mystery to me, having sent many items to the US I have had far to many conversations with customers all over the States about the joys of USPS but as we both know that's part of the course atleast you guys have epackets I can only dream!
Now you should mention it the KFL, I just checked, I would bet it will be delivered in the next 2 days but that's the vape addiction talking

@ZeroOhm ... you see that hun, it all works out in the end. International shipping is a lot better right now then it was back in November. The ban on batteries, and ejuices really jacked up the entire system. HKP started scanning each and every package, sending shipments back to the vendor ... it was horrible.
Luckily I got wind of it all and stopped ordering from China until the smoke cleared ... I prayed for a return to normalcy, and it appears my wish was granted. I suspect that by March everything will be as it used to be, and everyone will receive their shipments within 7-10 days. I think the mail is moving pretty well considering the Holiday season, and the on going recovery from "Hong Kong Gate".
We should for sure start some sort of self help/support group for addicted to shopping vapers, because I have issues too! ... when do we begin?
