Focalecig ... A new Fasttech??

So all of my items arrived yday from Focal. Everything came as ordered and in a much shorter time than I anticipated. This was my first order and I was for the most part satisfied. There is a bit of a language barrier between us and cust. service, but I'd think that is to be expected. Despite that, the cust. service rep was always responsive and in a timely fashion. I'll be looking at their catalog again when their holidays conclude.

Well it is good to know that Focalecig makes returning items when necessary very easy ... I like that. And I also like that you Burnie, were willing to keep the Ego batteries as potential gifts to new vapers, I think that is really cool of you.

When people know that they will get a response, and a amicable resolution to any problem that may arise, it is reassuring ... And ya see, something good came of something less than desirable.

Well I guess Doris decided to reship the batteries even though I said I would use the ones they sent. Picture she took is of the correct EGO's that were ordered the first time. CS (at least Doris) with Focalecig is very good IMHO. I will say with FT it is a day or two before a reply, with FC it was a couple of hours. Granted they are smaller and it might get worse down the road, but currently they are fast to respond. I have to give my CC a break, and with CNY, I am holding off on ordering right now, but down the road if FC has something I want/need, I will give them another chance, just because of the CS (Doris).

Aww that was so nice of her to do Burnie ... Although I have yet to have any issues with an order from Focalecig, I will say that I got a good feeling from Doris from the very first email I sent them. She just came across very humble, and eager to make a customer happy, and that is why in spite of some things that maybe weren't as sophisticated as some other companies, I wanted to give them a try.

I myself have been a "start up company", so I also empathized a lot with her. Anyway, it is nice to see her trying whatever she can to remedy your situation. And you are right, as they grow she may not be able to answer every issue so quickly, to the best of my knowledge Doris is running that ship by herself. Hopefully as they grow, her staff will increase. I have seen it a million times with vendors that become in high demand, sometimes they do get overwhelmed and it hard to keep up ... Doris is a nice lady, and I wish her the best.

Because aside from being sweet, and kind, Doris is smart. She wants happy customers, not ...... off customers, so it is to her benefit to be honest about the products she sells. You didn't buy the product that you initially inquired about, but you did buy something else. Only vendors with short sight, and greedy hearts are misleading about their products, which will always come back to bite you in the .....

I am sure your shipment will show up, I figured that even as shipping from China was starting to show improvements, that it would get bogged down again with all the people trying to get in orders before the Holiday shutdown.

there may be but I would think looking at how small FC is and the fact they are separating from wallbuys, the contact people may be assigned to just that division so not much to do but run shippng and answer emails.

If i read the the information correctly it is one person at wallbuys who decided to take FC as a separate place. still connected to the same supply chain but just vaping supplies.

besides it is in their best interest to be on top of everything if they wish to compete with fasttech and health cabin and they know that.

Well it looks like my Ft order floated straight into Providence bay. No ICS scan or anything. Looks like it just might beat VB order, the VB order has said dispatched from Flushing NY for like 4 days with no other updates. They might both just show up tomorrow.

Woot, my Focalecig order hit Heathrow today, can't wait to get my Kraken...

Me and Vaporbreak have fallen out, I have launched a paypal dispute because they asked me just after Xmas what to do with a returned by carrier order and I said I would like either a refund or a credit slip towards a brass Chi-You which was about the same, 6 messages to them later and still no response, nor a response to paypal either, very annoyed as I spent a small fortune with VB and they robbed me for $25 which is stupid.

So it looks like Foc and FT still have my custom, bought a lovely acrylic stand off FT to go with the other one, FT did get them to the courier before their closedown so pleased with that but getting to the viable end of what I can actually use hehe and the Nemesis is still showing itself to be top mod dog

Oh cool! Just note that your SS sleeve is threaded and not press fit ... Me and Thrasher found that out the frustrating way ... I am actually about to re-wrap my wick on the Kraken. My first single coil set up was good, but the e liquid I used crustated (is this a word?) the heck of out the coil, so I am emptying out the old tank, and just going to start fresh with a new juice (DIY Coconut Cream). I really like the way the Kraken vapes, and it has the best adjustable air flow I have ever experienced!

Whoohoo! Focalecig and Epacket via China Post is making record times people!!!

To my surprise, I just received my third package which took a record 7 days from Acceptance to Delivery ... I haven't even opened the package yet ... but it is the Marstech QQ Cartotank Mech Mod, and a T3 clearomizer (never tried one of those). Will post pics later after I open the package, I am busy building coils right now.

If I'm not mistaken, everything I can find out about the Marstech Kayfake is that it is a chrome plated brass deck. I have avoided it until someone actually has one on hand. Their other stuff is not really my style but interesting all the same.

I've been watching Focal now for the last couple of months so this is all good news to be hearing. Might have to make an order after the "New Year".

Yes, acceptance by China Post ... I included the tracking link in the original post if you wanna see. And I sure will update the Marstech QQ with photos, and then later some feedback/review. I haven't even opened the package, which is unusal, but I was right in the middle of doing some rebuilds, and then I had to make dinner. I want it to have my undivided attention

I personally do not know, although I doubt they would be selling fakes, but of course I recommend sending them an email about the batteries in question, and ask if they are authentic. Many pages back I posted a link to another forum that also has a Focalecig thread (AAEC), and I am positive there were people ordering batteries, so maybe check that out too.

Although its sometimes worth checking the local sites, ordered a brass Origin off Focal then went onto thevapetank and picked up a pair of Sigelei's for £35 (Sig 8w with both tubes and Sig Mini tiger) with the mini tiger at a tenner AND also got the Nzonic type head to repair my M16 so its all looking good and one of me daughters is going to get my K100 and the other probably the T5 alloy Lavatube.

I spent a good hour this evening polishing my kit using Duraglit, all sitting there twinkling and gleaming

BTW if anyone does get a brush plating kit, its worth silver plating things like internals, I silver plated my Hammer battery tube and pins and its really made a difference, I am actually eyeing the nemmy and KFL with a view to gold plating the whole lot /evil maniacal laugh

I also heard there is someone out there that made glass tank tubes out of Uranium glass which glows under UV, that would be soooo cool

Ok so here are some pictures of the Marstech QQ cartotank mech mod, and a T3 clearomizer ... I haven't used it yet, but I took it all apart, the initial impressions are very good. It feels solid, all the threads work well, no ill fitting parts, and two nice surprises which were a floating 510 center pin on the carto tank, and a removable drip tip which means you can use other 510 drip tips (2 out of 3 that I tried worked well, good fit) ... oh, and I remember someone asking if the fire button had a lock, and the answer is yes it does.

I also liked that the cartomizer is double punched, and you can dissemble the entire tank ie: top and bottom cap, tank, and carto for cleaning ... the telescopic tube squiks a little when adjusting, but moves in and out with ease, no sticking.

The T3 clearomizer is well made, equal in quality to the Kanger Evod and the like ... from what I can see, the coil head is positioned nicely inside of the clearo, so hopefully this will make for good wicking, and a vape similar to the Evod, but I still have to fill and use. All in all it looks really good, and I am not disappointed based on initial impressions, and I shall return will an update/review after I actually use it.

Ahahhaa, I am going to send you my stuff to plate ... since you love it and all ;-). I would actually love it if the Aqua clone was released in brass to match the Origin brass mod, that would be sweet!
