Yes Crocky my dear, I think that is true ... I also believe that some folks get frustrated with trying to get all the machine oil taste out of the device too, which is off putting.
That guy that just sent me his unwanted Taifun GS just said, what you said ... I was able to get it up and running just fine, and its a really nice vape too, very happy with it. He was shocked..
So far the best build and vape that I have found with the Taifun GT is a micro coil with a 3mm xc-116 wick, no top wick ... Very clean flavor, no leaks, or gurgles. The 2nd best is the ss mesh wick w/silica 3mm silica top wick ... I didn't care for the all silica wick build at all, flavor was muted.
I have to eventually get a kayfun because I really want to see how they compare in vape when each is built properly.

From my understanding after talking with Doris the Zerotank does not come with any heads but if you order the PT3 (great price) I think you can use the head out of it or a PT2 head.

Its a shame Focale doesn't stock the Rocket that I can see, I got mine today from FT and at $13 for a Kayfun clone, it has turned out to be a right nice little atty and I am vaping it out the box and really spot on.
Delboy is a happy chappy today, got his special glasses from NY, place called Melville so I can see a bit again
Anyone tried Focale on juices to the UK yet? I am thinking of trying out some of the unusual juices seen recently as I have raw nic to buff them up to my super high vape

Good thinking about the Rocket ... don't know why I haven't suggested that one to Doris, especially the SS version. I kind of regret selling mine before I even tried it .. I had a knee jerk reaction to it being polished, instead of brushed, so I sold it in the classies, unused

Yes I saw the 3D, I'm pretty close on my rebate points so will buy it when I get my gift certificate hopefully next week so def keeping it in mind, wonder if they are going to bring in the Neme and the Dome as well as that would be cool
I have to have quite strong long vision glasses and America is the only place that sells 'em at an affordable price, the UK prices are like 2-£300 per lens and I discovered this lovely online shop called DebSpecs who get 'em to me in just over a week from buying so double thumbs up there I think the ones that arrived today cost me $40 which isn't bad for a bespoke pair of proper glasses in my book.
I will this weekend go through some of the juices and see what I can find, my palate is now widening and I am wanting more fruity mixes and I have an array of "alchemy" here in the form of food flavours, colours, sweeteners etc as MistEliquid over here sells the actual flavours of their very fine juices and I also get my raw nic from them as well, a canvas ready for me to paint

Several large retail outlets, many of which are discounters, so its a very busy town. Also has a good many nightclubs, so it was one of my main "stomping grounds" once upon a time.

Aw I had a boo-boo with my Focale Kayfun tonite I was sitting there imbibing the ol' red raspberry I put in there and thought hey my hand feels a bit wet and saw that the clear section had literally imploded and its like waaaah lol
Nevermind as I have plenty of steel sections lurking about and a couple packs of coloured glasses from FT coming in but I suspect this is what happened with my other KFL where the vacuum just got so heavy it broke the plastic, its weird as I ddn't put a citrus or a cinnamon in, must just be a design issue as after all its only a vanity thing and in full SS mode it works best I find anyways.
So, Nikkita will we see sharpie tags like "Vape on people" and "Nikkita woz 'ere" all over the place? Well... my Squape arrived today and it's DEFECTIVE!!!!!!!
The base deck where the coil mounts is shorting out internally. My ohms are jumping all over the place from 6.6 ohms to 0 ohms. It makes no difference regarding how I adjust the center screw on the 510 connection. In addition, the threads on the 510 connection have a couple of machining marks on them as if a drill or machining die rubbed against them gouging the threads.
I have an email into Doris as I type this... hopefully they'll stand behind their product. I DO NOT want to ship it back to China as that will be an expensive mailing from the USA. The least expensive method would be $23.50 via USPS International Shipping. That's more than I paid for the item.
This really sucks! Man, I was really looking forward to trying a Squape!
Oh well I'll wait and see what response I get from Doris at Focalecig.
In the meantime, c'est la vie!

Sounds like there may be a fault with the anodising of the two blocks although if the lathe used to machine the threading has gone awry then it could have pushed the inner wall of the connector tube onto or near to the centre pin thus causing shorts.
I've not got the squape but I have seen stuff where people have had similar issues with the blocks not being 100% non conductive because of a fault with the processing of the blocks themselves or shorting out on the underside of the blocks through to the deck.

How in the hell can one tell the unit is shorted by a photo? The only thing a photo will show is the muffed up threads on the 510 connection.
A website called bonanza.com has the HCigar model of the Squape, so I think I'll just order from them and hope that Focalecig refunds my PayPal account.
I won't hear anything from Doris until Monday now. Oh well... caveat emptor as always!

The only downside I can see there is if you do a faulty product focale might want the item back and paypal can be somewhat useless in supporting the customer in this instance as I found out with Vaporbreak who cheerfully lied through their teeth to paypal and despite giving PP proof they were lying, they refused to refund me my money

I think it's only fair to give FC an opportunity to make things right first. I had an issue with something they sent and after receiving my pics, Doris had the problem solved for me and a replacement out in less than an hour. I did not have to return anything. This company definitely cares about customer service.

Before spending money elsewhere, provide the order # & a pic of whatever you can take a pic of (muffed up threads).
I know it may feel ridiculous considering you've already provided the # but more times than not no one bothers to read initial contact emails from the beginning again.
I've gone thru this quite a few times (not vape related) & in the end it was worth it; annoying but worth it.
