1. Did you heat your coil a few times, before you put the yarn in, to burn off any "ick" from the wire?
2. Did you boil your yarn for "s**ts and giggles"?
3. Like Nikki said, did you prime your wicks?

Me, I'd be walking around Home Depot holding the box with a sad "help me" look on my face ... The quality looks nice in the photos. Now, if you need any Genesis set up help, that I can help you with.

Hello again, just done a build on the prometheus and as you said the screws are a bit tricky but not to bad, once replaces this device will be awesome I have found no faults with it yet and it hits hard

greetings fc thread. i have been keeping up with this thread for a while, and it has been quite educational thus far. i grabbed myself a few things (most notably a fogger v3 that i am VERY happy with) from fc to test their shipping speed and found it to be acceptable in comparison to the cost difference. now that i am confident in fc's products and shipping practices, i want to get myself a nice mech and an rda. i am leaning towards a caravela and a patriot. now here is where my question comes in. i was wondering if anyone knows the difference between the two caravella sets that fc sells? one is $30ish (sku 13537) and the other is $20ish (sku 13156). i noticed they have a similar situation with their nemesis models, and i cant tell the difference between those either. naturally, i would like to spend as little cash as possible, but if the slightly more expensive model is significantly better than the cheaper one i will fork over the extra loot. also, if anyone has any recommendations for a first mech or dripper (or one of their own they want to sell), feel free to chime in. and finally, thanks to nikkita and everyone else for a quality thread.

Hey there nasty, nice of you to join us ... Well, for one, the $20ish dollar Caravela set is sold out, and I don't think its coming back. The good news, since you have the Fogger V3 (which I have also), the $30ish dollar set is at least a better size match being that its also 23mm in diameter, like the Fogger ... but there will be a difference in finish, one being brushed, and the other polished.

The other bonus from what I can see is the adjustable top cap, with copper contact pin .. so I am expecting it to hit like a beast. I have this mod set coming as well, hopefully it will here next week, so I can't give definite feedback on it yet ... but it looks promising.

As far as the as two Nemmies are concerned, I can only share the "word on the street" because I don't own either of them, but I have researched them ... The word is that the cheaper Nememsis performs as well as the more expensive Nemmy, and I have even heard a few say that they preferred the cheaper one. The quality is said the be comparable to the more expensive version, with the added bonus of two beauty rings, instead of one.

As far as other mods ... again, since you have the Fogger V3, the Astro would be a very nice choice as well. It is 23mm (22.8 exact), and the finishes are comparable, and they look good together (I have both). For a first time dripper, you might want to give the V12 a shot, being that is has three different size airholes.

As a follow up to my problem I posted yesterday. I purchased a cheap starter kit to try. I was sent an eGo tank and battery with an 808 charger. they responded to my email quickly and asked me to send pictures. I sent detailed pictures of the mismatch. they responded that they checked the ones in stock and they were fine. Then they wanted me to send videos. For a $1 charger I decided to just let it go. it is not worth the frustration. I got a bunch of 510 chargers in from Fasttech yesterday. I will use one of those and just take the loss. I'm sure their intentions were good and wanted to solve my problem but it seems like the language barrier was becoming the problem. They didnt seem to understand what I was trying to describe. Other than slow shipping, I really have had no problems with Fasttech. I will probably just stick them. I really saw no advantage to using FE. If I'm looking for something better quality and quicker delivery, I use a U.S. vendor. I have found a few that have good prices, good quality and fast shipping. Im sure eventually I will have a problem with Fasttech, but my expectations are not that high when I can buy a clearo for $2 and have it shipped for free from the other side of the earth.

I don't see why not. I did look up Omega and it looks great with Nemi. I'm sure they will be good pair.
