Which is better, the Marstech QQ or the K101 mod? Will the QQ work with a kick?

I have a K101 already (and others) but thinking about trying a side button if it's OK.
All 3 (QQ,KK,K101) of them hit the same and all 3 of them take a kick. Be curfull, aha, you may like side button too much, happen to me.

is it normal for a tracking number to not show up even after 2 days? I got a tracking number for my black copper stingray 2 days ago and it's not even showing up on 17track... odd.

It usually takes 2-3 days to show under normal circumstances however, its a Chinese Holiday right now (Labor Day May 1-3) so it may take longer for your tracking to show up during this time.

I'm not sure, but looks like i have an issue with Taifun. I use it mostly with SVD, recoiled it from 0.7-2.5Ohm. But... but... SVD shots off every other time what doesn't happen with other atomizers. And as far as both are china clone it can come from either of them, just keep testing. I'm not an expert on any kind off shorting problems, i did check resistance 100 times and it shows about the same every time. aaa not sure what to do with it.

Edit: looks like i fixed it. Pin on Taifun was screwed in too much and didn't make good connection. It works great now.

You can't fire the SVD below 1.2 ohms, so that is why its shutting off on you when you were firing it under that limit ..

Really?? .. ouf, older regulated devices like the SVD are not supposed to fire that low, but hey, if its working, then why not? ... I think :p

I was using it like ohm meter, build dripper coil 0.6 for in laws, bla-bla - we have to check how it fires on mech because svd will not fire that low - you see - push a button... and it works, i'm looking at device like it's UFO.

Every floating pin I've seen this far was spring loaded but the pisces isn't. I did get it to move, however. Put the top in the freezer for a bit and it slid around easy. Now my Kayfun is flush and it looks great! Thanks!

That wouldn't technically be floating, floating is just that...it is free to move up and down.

The attached topper pushes the bottom of the pin out to the battery with no resistance (other than rubbing against insulator), it's a solid pin floating in a generally delrin insulator. A spring loaded 510 connection is not sold and has no business being on a mechanical mod IMO, not only do you get voltage drop from the spring but the spring may collapse (melt) if you run too much power through it.

I ordered a 450mAh batt and a 1.6ml CE5 atomizer. I really like the battery due to the size, however, i dont seem to be able to get anything but a burnt taste with the atomizer. They also threw in a neat little plastic case that holds the batt and a CE5 perfectly.

Thanks for the info f1vefour. I'm pretty new to mods in general so that's nice to know. The only moving pins I'd seen before has been on devices like my Sigelei 20w.

Many clearomizers, especially the generic variety, can suffer from poor wicking, which creates the burnt taste. You can try a few primer puffs before you fire it to get the wicking going, just don't prime too much as you can also flood the atomizer.

You consider a better type of clearo such as a Protank Mini,, Kanger Evod, or TS3, these usually provide a better vaping experience, provided that the device is not faulty in some way. :)

For the mini tanks I swear by the Kanger EVOD Glasss. Cheap, glass, and they look good to boot. Easy to maintain as well. And they're dual coil as well, though I've also put kanger's single coils in and they worked just fine for me (can't guarantee it will for everyone, though, as you're not supposed to and there is a gap between the center tube and the silicone).

Been using my Pisces a lot since it got it. No complaints and it definitely looks good now that I have the pin moving. Still stiff but at least it moves now.

These are some pictures and my comparisons of the two Trident V1 Clones I have received from Focalecig:

Silver V12 clone SKU: 126731 (shown on the left in all pictures)
Golden V12 clone SKU: 126721 (shown on the right in all the pictures)

GAq2D80.jpg

The air hole on the outer shell of the Silver v12 is a tad bit larger than the Golden v12.

My Experience: Golden v12 produces a slight bit better flavor and Silver v12 produces a slight bit bigger clouds and more airy draw on largest airhole in AFC.

Winner: Golden V12
Reason: I am more of a flavor chaser as opposed to a cloud chaser.

Myrpi50.jpg

The size of the top cap that inserts into the body of the V12 on the Golden one is machined better and does not produce the gap in the bottom as you can see in the Silver one. The largest airhole option selected for the Silver one does not have an opposing air hole while the Golden one does have a very small hole.

My Experience: The Silver V12 would occasionally leak out of the gap created at the bottom and the Golden V12 has yet to leak any liquid out of the tiny opposing airhole when tilted up.

Winner: Golden V12
Reason: Does not leak any liquid when tilted.

The two have very similar contacts but it appears that the Golden one has an o-ring or insulation around the positive post.

My Experience: The Golden V12 appears to have less of a voltage drop and does not need to be adjusted at all when tightened all the way down because it still has some of the post sticking out past the 510 threads. The Silver one when tightened down is completely flush with the 510 threads and would need to be backed out some in order to ensure a good connection with positive pin in mod.

Winner: Golden V12
Reason: 510 pin does not need to be adjusted at all on the atomizer.

HDoTWG3.jpg

There are more threads on the Golden V12 in the 510 connection.

My Experience: The Silver V12 would produce a weird wobbling action on my Nemesis and would be very hard to flush mount because it would lose a connection in the threads on the mod and would appear to be tilted to one side. The Golden V12 can be easily flush mounted due to the extra threading and stays caught in the 510 threads on the mod when screwed on all the way.

Winner: Golden V12
Reason: Flush mounts seamlessly without a gap between the top cap and the atomizer and doesn't tilt to any sides.

Overall Winner: Golden V12 clone SKU: 126721

I hope this helps anyone out with their purchases. I am loving the Golden V12 Trident Clone and it looks very good on my Nemesis which also has the gold plated top cap ring and locking ring!
