Not sure where you got the impression that FC doesn't know what they are selling, most especially since you admittedly did not read through this thread..
I'm summing it's comment about quality of description, what actually was discussed few posts back.

I find myself descriptions on items a bit of scratchy, but... as we all know, if customers have any extra questions Doris lovely provide all possible support.

Yes, the product descriptions are very basic, but I find that the spec most often missing is what kind of positive pin a a mod has ie:floating, spring loaded, stationary, etc. And also the contact material used for the positive and negative contacts. I agree that there could be a tad bit more detail to the description, but all of the basics are there.

Nikki, I just ordered their logo-less Nemmy (though it shunted me to Wallbuys for some reason). Wasn't sure if you had seen it. You have said you don't like the logo so I thought you might be interested in that if you hadn't already looked at it.

Yes, I did notice that they had the logoless Nemmy back in stock. :D ... my wish list is much too long. :p

Can you guys/gals convince me a little on these 3 RTA's, Fogger, Taifun GT, or Aqua? I'm really just wanting to buy all three but I need to limit myself. All are good tanks just wondering if anyone has experience with them. Thanks.

also there is a deal for Origin V2, upgraded magnet switch, with a Aqua RTA for 50 bucks. I was tempting on that one.

The Aqua is real good and a heavy hitter. Good for sub-ohm dual coils if that's the kind of thing you like. Gives a pretty good throat-hit to all my juices, but because I'm not huge on sub-ohm (and don't prefer a good throat-hit) it can sometimes be too much for me. It can be complex to rebuild but if you follow some videos on YouTube it will make it a lot easier. I can rebuild it now as easily as my Kayfuns.

I could give you advice on the other two later on today, actually, since I have both of them coming in. From what I've heard a lot of people are liking the Taifun GT once you can get it set up, which sounds pretty tricky. I've not seen much said about the Fogger v4 on here, but I've heard elsewhere that it is pretty solid.

I would definitely recommend either the Taifun or Aqua over the the Fogger, which is not as good as the other two IMO. I would give the Taifun the highest recommendation based on its juice capacity, and ease of refilling.

Not sure where you saw a deal for Origin/Aqua for $50, these items purchased together at FC would actually be less than $50 ... but I think it is a nice pairing. :)

I own Aqua and Taifun GT/GS from FC. All 3 good quality.
Aqua at 1.6 is smoothest rba i have, love it, except capacity - too small under 2 ml. I mostly use it at home, so i don't have to drug bottles with me. Build not that bad, i had to rebuilt it 3 times before i got it steady for me.
Taifun GT great rba, nice smooth vape from 0.9-2.5 (i like it more at 1.9-2.0) huge capacity (no refill needed) - love it, but... but... i still can't get build on it steady. 1 out of 3 works great and i run it till it works.

I do not own fogger can't say anything.

All those rda's are great, you just have to find your way. VV/VW - right setting, right coil and proper wicking and you can do it a charm out of any of those.

I had problems with my Kayfun lately, it was hitting toooo hard (12113 from FC). I dropped it on min with kick and i love it now.

So what ever you chose for yourself you can set it there where you will like it.

Not really a sub vapor. I like my vapors a little cool. Around 1.3-2.0 is where I like. Thanks for the input. Will check more into the other ones.

You can definitely build an Aqua up to those numbers if you want, just remember it's a dual coil so you may need to use some 28 or 29 gauge wire to make your coils so they'll still fit. I used 32ga (all I had at the time) and ended up with a .5 ohm build. I don't really mind it, but like I mentioned at that low of a resistance it gives some of my juices a heavier throat hit than I prefer, which makes me cough, which gives me a headache. :( Once I rebuild it it should be just fine.

I can give you some feedback on the Fogger once I get home (which is what I want to build first, anyway, since I've already heard a lot about the Taifun). Gotta wash it, build it, fill it, vape it, so it'll be a little while. Probably in around 4 hours or so. I didn't get it from Focal so I can't really say as far as quality will go, but from what all I have ordered from Focal already I've not had an issue with quality. Only ordered the Fogger from elsewhere so I could get it quicker since it was around the same price.

Thanks for the replies. Taifun it is. At 23mm it will fit nice with that Black Turtle Ship I purchased last week. I see there's 2 versions. What's the difference between them?

Right now as best we can tell, the Taifun GT's come from two different supplier's, which does not mean that they are from different manufacturer. The difference in retail pricing may be indicative of the difference in wholesale pricing from the suppliers.

The more expensive Taifun GT is confirmed Hcigar, while the 2nd Taifun (lower price) also looks to be an exact 1:1 like the Hcigar. The parts packaging and boxes are identical between the two.

I do know that after the overwhelming preference, and popularity of the Hcigar Taifun, some manufacturers started stepping up their game, and revised their Taifun clones to come closer to a 1:1 copy like the Hcigar .. even down to adding the trademark R to the packaging, and including an extra airflow tube to the parts packaging, which once upon a time was exclusive to the Hcigar Taifun.

Without holding the 2nd Taifun in hand, and taking it apart, and examining the pieces, it will be very difficult to discern who the manufacturer is, but he looks exactly like the Hcigar.

So far it looks like the Taifun will win out, too. XD Too bad I already have one now.

I have the Fogger V2 and V3 ... I don't have the newest Fogger V4, but based on the various feedback I have read over in the RBA section, like the previous versions the Foggers are only as good as Yiloong's ability to produce consistent batches without error. When the Fogger is properly machined piece for piece, its a very good RBA however, Yiloong is notorious for inconsistent build quality amongst their devices, one of the reasons that I am not a fan of Yiloong.

Air flow channels that are not fully machined, poor threading on the chimney, crooked top caps, glass tanks that do not stay in place unless they are taped down, and the list of manufacturing flaws goes on.

In addition to that, I don't care for their business practices, specifically mandating retails cost as a condition of supply to vendors. They are no where near the manufacturing quality leagues of Hcigar, Infinite, and EHpro, none of whom demand that their products be sold at a set price point as a condition of supply.

My Fogger V3 is good, in spite of a crooked fitting top cap, while my Fogger V2 is very disappointing because the air flow is blocked, and the stainless steel tank fits with the top cap like a pregnant women's belly due to poor machining. The Fogger V4's seem to have the same inconsistent build qualities .. some are machined perfectly, while some are not. So, Yiloong can't have my money until their manufacturing quality meets up with their Ego driven price demands.

But I do hope that you get a good one Skorpeyon. :)

Me, toooo! Thanks for the info, though. If it's not good I'm sure the guys I got it from will fix it one way or another. Eciggity's customer support has been pretty good from what I've seen.

Vape mail! :D finally got my Miraxus and my Omega RDA today (first order I ever placed from Focal). Got caught up in customs or something which is why I think it took so long. They shipped it out forever ago, so I don't blame them.

I like the Miraxus a lot. Floating pin, magnetic button. Probably going to use it more with my Kayfun than with the lotus that's on it right now. I had to put that on there for my "Sonic Screwdriver" mod set. That's exactly what this pairing reminds me of.

The Omega is simple, as I expected. Going to build it later on but it's solid and fits together great. That's probably my biggest problem with the lotus. It has almost no friction between the base and the top so it comes right off or rotates at the slightest pressure.

I also picked up the Protank glass replacements and intend to put the pink one on it for my fiancé. I think she'll love it. They look good and were wrapped 3 times in bubble wrap so they made it to me without damage.

Cheers to that! :toast: ... Think you can mod the Lotus in some way to keep it from moving around so easily? The Lotus and Maraxus make quite the pairing ... very medieval

That is so sweet that you gave the pink replacement glass to your fiance. :)
